Hi!
I'm new...
I read Linda's chapter on immortality and for the first time in my life my rational mind thought "i know this is possible, i know this is true for me" Ever since the idea has been fixed in my mind. I study genetics and have been taught to think that cells must be replicated to sustain the body; there is a finite number of times a cell can replicate; and in effect the body must age. Yet i know this to be naive and false. Funny, huh?
I'm only 21 so how will i know if i manage to achieve cell suspension if i'm not going to show signs of ageing for many years yet?
Just one of many questions! he he he!

Just affirm that you'll stay as you are--and you will.

Hi sun-scorpio!
Found out my stars! You already know i'm an Aquarian, but you don't know i have Scorpio rising and my moon is in Pisces.
The rest of my planets are all either in Scorpio or Capricorn!
Which is kinda funny, cos i live with my dad (who's a capricorn) and on weekends with my boyfriend (who's a capricorn) and our two best friends (both capricorns!) who have a child due in late Feb which i predict will be a Pisces boy, but we don't know for certain.
Oh, and a big hello to everyone else out there, too! Love

Just out of curiosity (and maybe for the numerology) what is the finite number? When you ask "I'm only 21 so how will i know if i manage to achieve cell suspension if i'm not going to show signs of ageing for many years yet?" I think you answered your own question. You will know, because you won't age. I stopped on 22. Welcome to LL!

Dean.

I've heard of the 'smell' that some people get, but other than that, the only way you would really know if your affirmations were working is if you physically couldn't detect any signs of ageing.
So, what i meant was that being as young as i am, i could think that i've achieved cell suspension and then in five years find a wrinkle! lol!
But just reading everyone's posts helps me to re-affirm every few days that i can do it and i'm not the only one.

You're doing just fine! Soon enough there will be so many clues you won't even notice. Like your hair stylist going on about your mane (it's good to be a Leo), or your co-working ripping you for that infectious smile every darn day, or that punky high school kid who got schooled on that drop spin turn around jump shot by the "old man" on the court ... or the little laughs at those who try and guess your age after you tell them ... "No, really .. how old are you?"

Ahhhhh, it's fun, isn't it!

Welcome aboard!

Hi nae
I've been on board for a while now.
I just noticed your from Vic too! Yay!!maybe we can exchange emails! Are you near the city? I'm in the s'eastern suburbs.

Anyway, I have one ritual I do for my longevity, and I have been rejected from being employed because I look too young, and they obviously thought I was lying about my age...hmmm, but I found one in the end!

Nice to meet you

Daphne

Dean, I like to keep those things secret, as I normally share so much with others i like the idea I have secrets too. I know others have rituals they keep to themselves also, and some that they share. Rituals, I think are like reminders to re-member daily who you are.
You still around Nae??

Hey, yes Neostar, i'm still here! Sorry! I went on holidays for 2 weeks and just got back! I was camping with friends on the murray river at Torrumbarry (near Echuca)waterskiing. We do it every year.
Maybe we can arrange to meet up on the chat site and get to know each other.
