I was on an Art site the other day, and I was browsing through some lovely art, and then I found this by Ekke Ozlberger! http://www.washacadsci.org/meadowlark-gardens/Flowers/index3.htm ------------------ "And dreams, don't ever forget, are the first step in manifesting wishes into reality"-- Linda Goodman's Star Signs IP: Logged |

Does anybody know the basic biography of this fellow?------------------ "The reason why birds can fly and man cannot is simply that they have perfect faith; for to have faith is to have wings." ~JM Barrie IP: Logged |

I did a search on his name that turned up absolutely nothing. It asked if I meant Ekke OTzlberger (with a t) and when I clicked on that it brought only one site up that was no help. Very curious isnt it??? IP: Logged |

I, too, did a search on his name and got three results. One was just a link where it showed the same painting. The other two were in Spanish. When I get a chance, I'll get it translated and I'll post what I learned.------------------ "The reason why birds can fly and man cannot is simply that they have perfect faith; for to have faith is to have wings." ~JM Barrie IP: Logged |

We'd Love for you to join Lindaland Ekke, if you speak Enlgish, heehee! I found some info, his birth data is July 14, "1948". Then I found this: OZLBERGER Ekke, Maler, 1891 – 1963, Wien.?? It's mainly in German. That's the only painting I've could find of his. I was studying the painting. Now I have questions to start us spiralling... Why is there 2 hyacinths? Why can we see 6 oranges? Why is 1 orange not in the bowl? There is a dark background, and a few spots that look like stars...can you see it? ------------------ "And dreams, don't ever forget, are the first step in manifesting wishes into reality"-- Linda Goodman's Star Signs IP: Logged |

Very interesting Sun. The ideas that are spiralling in my vision of a painting along these lines already, are going to have MANY hidden meanings within it. That is my personal favorite thing to do with my work, secret messages. Some of it has to do with numerology. Quite a different setting than the one above though. That's interesting what youve noticed in that one! I have a feeling this man planned out this painting with subtle meanings as well. What catches my eye is the silver piece of fabric that the one orange is on. IP: Logged |

The one orange on the silver fabric reminds me of a person on a path. The orange looks like it's on a path. The other oranges together in the bowl speak to me of "potential". They too are oranges, but arent "free" like the other one. They are still in a "container". Also the one orange could represent the sometimes lonely path......To me the two differnt colored and sized seprately potted hyacinths represent male and female energies. That's just the feeling I get from it. The purple one is smaller and feminine. And the six oranges....well, we know what 6 means. IP: Logged |

The silver in the painting stands out to me."When given as a gift Silver represents trust, love, wisdom and excellence. Emotional intelligence and creativity are a few of the attributes ascribed to silver. Presumably silver is in tune with the bodies energy." Great stuff to spiral on! Let's keep going! IP: Logged |

Yep, we both know what 6 & 2 means. And when you add them together =8. I was also thinking about the silver table cloth. Intersting isn't it? It's also running off the edge of the round table...the table is round, like our Earth. There's also a stripe of Orange on the table. Hmmm. I also got male and female, dualities from the 2 hyacinths. The larger one looks like it's looking 'down' on the other, almost in an affectionate way. I feel love when I see those two flowers.
