Like I said I like them all, though have to remember they all have a lot of sugar in them. Though I'm not sure if melons do.

my mom planted a blueberry bush one year and the birds got all of them

I just learned from my master Gardner friend that if you want to harvest blueberries, then you must plant another berry bush next to it for the birds. I think it is serviceberry. It's taller and gets blue colored berries and the birds it better.

I've never heard of serviceberry either. As far as I know all berries are good for our health.
