T O P I C R E V I E Wteasel http://twitter.com/AstroByMax/status/1418918483816067072 I was going to add this to a thread, but I have to go, I can't look for one. I know this has been discussed recently. Pale Blue EyesI definitely agree that 7H is more about commitment than love. And you can be committed to a myriad of things that are not related to romance. When you have an enemy, you're committed to hating them. When you get married to someone you don't love (it happens), you're still committed to them. Etc. MoonMysticI agree with Pale Blue Eyes. I think 5th might be about creating a child after a commitment but in terms of fun, it is not strings attched. Depending of course on other areas of the synastry. GalacticCoreExplosionV2 5th House often correlates to feelings of being twitter patted and butterflies in the gut in relation to the perceived beauty/attraction and/or hormonal lust/sexual attraction to another. It is often a combo heart and leydig cells kind of reaction. Relationships (in the west at least) often start in this phase and if they survive hurdles, bumps, ego, etc, and commit to one another, then it becomes more of a 7th House thing. But a relationship can devolve in a 7th House connection to not have feelings of love, beauty, and/or intense attraction, etc anymore. Sometimes people stay in loveless marriages for the wrong reasons. Often fear of lack. In that case, a 5th House connection is actually more positive than a 7th House one gone sour, though duty and responsibility can be good reasons to stay connected. It really depends on the situation and the couples specific karma. Point being is that 7th House is not necessarily better than 5th (nor vice versa). MoonMysticGalacticCoreExplosionV2, J, is that you? If so wb! Hope you are well.If not Welcome 2LL knowflake. GalacticCoreExplosionV2Hi Moon Mystic (edit, I accidentally put these in reverse the first time), yep, the one and only. Hey there and how's it going? Would have kept in touch, but you had apparently erased all replies from my videos and so I had no way to get back to you. MoonMystic I'm happy to see you again. There could be no other like you! Had to ask. Has the past several montjs been kind to you?GalacticCoreExplosionV2 Thank you for asking. Kind no, interesting definitely. Unfortunately was not able to devote much time and energy to the book project as originally planned because the business of living/paying bills took precedent and has been overly pressing. But I'm working on a project (an invention of sorts) that may make life easier in that respect, and may eventually lead to more time for a book/writing project. How about yourself, how have things been for you since we last interacted? MoonMystic I'm sorry to hear that. Maybe the timing will be right once you're able to resume? An invention? You seem refreshed. How's your Mrs. doing? I am sorry about ytube. I spent a lot of time in the Personal reading board. Found myself venturing into my creativity. Have been experiencing twists and turns in this "new era". Been an odd time for me tbh. *I forgot to mention, Often I thought of you and hoped you'd rtn.GalacticCoreExplosionV2 Hopefully. Invention being a combo fully vacuum insulated cooler that can also double as a highly efficient Solar oven, and also as no electricity refrigerator. And, made out of primarily renewable and biodegradable materials (like 95% or so). Using a composites approach (the main materials are wood and essentially a form of glass). There are only two vacuum insulated coolers made in the world. One is sold in Europe and not available to the US, and is fairly pricey at around 450 euro. And the other is made by Yeti and retails for 800 dollars--and the kicker--it is only partially vacuum insulated--still a mostly foam and plastic, traditional cooler with some very thin vacuum insulation panels stuffed in between. Mine is all vacuum insulated and a full inch of same, which equates to crazy, crazy levels of insulation. The Mrs.? Don't really know. She has been gallavanting across Europe and Asia Minor for the last 39 days (well with the last couple days in New York with some friends for a bachorlette get together). Her phone broke in the early part of the trip, and communication has been infrequent since the cheap, burner phone she bought could only be used with wi-fi? Anyways, the prodigal spouse finally comes home tomorrow (well later today technically). No worries about YT. I was a little sad/disappointed, but I figured you likely had your reasons. Ah, creativity sounds pretty nice indeed. It is a fun mix of balancing and integrating the analytical and intuitive parts of self, whilst tapping into something deeper and bigger than our little selves. And it's fun too boot! Sounds like it was mostly enjoyable? Thank you for sharing that Luv. I don't plan to post much, but will occasionally be around as the spirit moves or doesn't. But good to see you again. You know I have a fondness for strong Aquarius energy fo sho. Don't know if she has been around of late, but Chanterelle and I had a rather enjoyable platonic beach/camping trip not too long ago. She has Sag Rising like you and is probably predominantly Neptunian (also like you, I think?). Well anyways, much love to you old (pre this life) friend. MoonMystic That is way over my head, your invention. You definitely have put your mind to some powerful projects. You have a Tesla twist about you. Your lady is home by now. That must be nice to reunite. There will likely be beautiful photos to share with you, if she went overseas, I'm sure she has many visual delights. Re yt, I was disappointed too - though in my doing that. My artistic vibe may be Lent to me from my Drac chart. I'm even more Neptune there.lol, the Aqua is an interesting sign. I wonder what if your drac carries it. I understand pacing yourself with posting. I myself go back and forth. This being my most social point of interest online.I have no doubt that once the many LL faces see you've returned, you'll be unexpectedly busy. I do recall Chantelle mentioned the beach. How fun the two of you got to go together. Very tranquil and cheerful. I hadn't seen her as much around lately. She does carry like energy as I. Never realized that. I'll bet she's fun to be around, as you are! Luv to you too, J. Always refreshing to find myself in one of your posts/threads. Learning, as you are a wise Soul. As well a wonderful part of this community.RandallBump!vansio7th House is also the house of open enemies.. it's also the house of our fame, direct access to the public. What we project onto others, to say the least.Oh, just reading the tweet now, that explicitly states this. Yes, 7th House is commitment to our karma, I'd say. 7H is not the fount of love (creativity), but partnership and business, for better or worse. PlutoWasHereI think love has different components and can be found in all of the houses of the Western hemisphere (4,5,6,7,8 and 9). The fun and romantic part of love is found in H5, but a relationship isn't all fun and games. For a lasting relationship you need to be able to weather some storms together and that part of love is found in H7. Everyone has their own attraction profile and finds different components of love more important than others. Some people need H4 action to feel comfortable in a relationship while others need H8 overlays or aspects to feel the attraction they are looking for. I think the discussion of H5 vs H7 is more one of personal preference than about the absolute location where love can be found in the birth chart. So I definitely agree with Galactic, a H5 relationship is not necessarily better than a H7 relationship or vice versa.antiphonOne of the strangest theories I’ve ever read. The angular houses are the most important, powerful and fundamental parts of our lives. Private vs public. Self vs other. There’s a reason they are in opposition to each other—they are part of the puzzle of life to find the balance. Is love not important enough to belong to an angular house? Should it belong to the house of fun and recreation? That doesn’t work for me.Hikaru29I believe I need both. If there’s no love & affection, it won’t lead to commitment. I can’t be with someone just because I feel obligated/responsible. It will kill my Sagittarius Moon/Gemini Venus…and my Pisces Mars…I need an emotional connection.5H is also creativity and children. It makes people wanna be creative together, generate ideas, and they may want kids together. It’s not just flings and fun. And if we were to believe that our partners are here to teach us lessons in relationships then 7H is inevitable, almost necessary.AlmaRegulusDo you think interaspects between 5th and 7th houses in synastry play any role? I mean very tight aspects almost in the same degree DW.MoonMystic @teasel, Rethinking on this - I do think the 5th reflects the interest in having fun, creatively with someone else. Sun energy spotlight in the duo as a good chemistry, maybe. As in a challenge of fun to go through periodical tests. When my hubby and I were best friends Jupiter started out around 5 iir and incrementally moved to the 7th. 6th is routine. Having to hear "their voice" each day/night, that is consistent connection to coming together. 5th might be like - "I'll call you in a few days, we'll get that date next weekend to go out ". Or booty calls. It happens. So the pairing might be relaxed. Doing things yet not Firm enough to be a real couple yet. After 6th, the test of beingvthere (routine) has been recognized. Ready to put a ring on it - IF nothing pulls the two off course. Adding - 5 is about Change in numbers. So if one person of the two is resisting change in singlehood, then the progress won't reach it's peak to graduate to the "routine" zone, which might be a "Promissory" zonez 6th house of routines. to some may be blah but it is like a Promise ring. The 7th is where the big promise is @.teaselOh, I’m sorry I didn’t get back to this. I was in a rush, and couldn’t remember where it was being discussed. I found it interesting, because I tend to love Taurus moons, and can usually pick out a Taurus sun - especially if they have a fire ascendant. My 7th is Taurus. My 5th is Pisces and Aries, Pisces on the cusp. I’m trying to remember if I’ve been attracted to Pisces. I have liked an early-born Aries. I don’t usually think of people as enemies, but if there ever was one, it would get my BIL. I also am not keen on the label, because I feel like it gives him too much importance. But he’s a Taurus, too. I felt jumpy around him at first, not he was a stranger in my home, and I deal with social anxiety. I wanted to like him, but then he hit on me, when my sister was gone all day, and part of the night, and we were alone in the house. I thought he was buttering me up, because he wanted me to like him, and then he made it clear that he wanted more than that. Aries is also my 6th house, and I’ve mentioned that in the past - the being there for each other, everyday routines, having each other’s backs. very important for an actual relationship. madelineleo23I read somewhere that 5th house overlays in synastry mean that there will never be commitment, but then others say it's important to have in a relationship so I'm confused a little. What if you have both 5th and 7th house overlays? My Sun is in the 5th house, and my Jupiter is in the 7th house of a guy I've been seeing for a while. His Moon is in my 5th house and his Jupiter is also is in my 7th house. GalacticCoreExplosionV2 I mean, if the synastry only has 5th House connections and no significant 7th House connections, then yes, it is more likely for it to be a non committed type thang. With both, expect both. Can be quite nice when it's both. RandallBump!StawrbumpI've been fascinated with looking into the houses more.I think its great to look into the houses more. And how likely is it that your SO will fulfil every house? My husbands rising sign is my 5th house we met at a party. His sun is in my 3rd house. I don't really get this in our synastry. House 3 is short trips. I guess. We do like our local dates and trying new places in our area. His moon is in my 12th house4th house is very important to me in a marriage I see because his Mercury, Venus and Mars are in my 4th house. I just realized he has Jupiter in my 4th house too. That actually seems like a good place for a partner to have Jupiter.Saturn in my 9th house, we have great stability and will power to travel together. the 8th house is pretty important to me too he has Uranus, Neptune, N. node and Lilith here. I like hearing the perspective of 6th house too he has Pluto in my 6th house.I use to worry about husband having nothing in my 7th house until I realized he has is IC in my 7th house. StawrBefore husband I was with a guy who had Cap stellulum my 8th house and Scorpio stellulum house 6. Lots of sex, and we had to see and talk to each other every day. But with that relationship I learned being attached at the hip is not the key to success. I thought how much attention I got was what made someone love me. It's not. So by the time I met my now husband...I was able to take a day off from talking to him the whole day, when in the past it would freak me out.Oh my God I was with a Cancer setulum in my 20. And he was pretty draining on my finances. Cancer is mainly my second house.
