T O P I C R E V I E WSeleneI am freaking out. This is going to be a long post so i hope you read it. I am in a relationship. Two months ago i saw a dream in which my grand aunt who had passed away several years ago told me: to marry, you'll have to find a coffin! I woke up, then fell asleep again and saw her again - asked her why she was frightening me. She said she never meant to frighten me, she just wanted to warn me and help me. Ok, i thought about that dream for a while and forgot it.Then a couple of days ago i saw a dream in which i and my bf are in a house along with other people, and then something terrible happens - the house is on fire and blows up. Somehow i get out safely but he doesn't. I hope that he has gotten out of there somehow and wait for him to show up. The day passes, then two days, then three days... And he doesn't show up or call me. People around me are saying that that means he did not get out of there and that he is dead and that i have to go to recognize his corpse. I fall down in a hysteria, tears all over the place. And then a stranger passes by and says to me - you should have listened to your aunt, she was right. To marry you have to find a coffin! That's when i woke up, my face was covered in tears. The same exact phrase. I suppose the phrase is somehow associated with him, and now i am worried about him so much. I have foreseen death in my dreams several times already, starting with my father who died 7 years ago. Now this message i got from the other side is bugging me. What do i do? How do i understand the meaning of that warning?! GeminiKaratMay I ask:What is your personal association with coffin? Are you planning an engagement/marriage with your friend?SeleneCoffin for me means literal death. I loathe funerals since i predicted my father's death in a dream. I literally start shaking when i see and smell a coffin. I would never want to lie in one (i want to get burned when i die for that reason). As for the second question - not yet, but i think that in the future definitely yes. We love each other very much. RaHello Selene From a purely symbolic standpoint, the warning could be that there is much to give up, to sacrifice, when you enter into marriage, and are you ready for that?Beyond that interpretation, I could not say. RandallLook before you leap.GeminiKaratThank you very much for the information!I thought about the coffin and your personal connection to it yesterday. I personally tend to take the dream symbol. The final connection will be up to you. Please read it as an opinion:A coffin in a dream can symbolize to overcome a loss. A coffin also calls to bury the past, to make plans for the future life. To lie in a coffin in a dream can announce good fortune that can happen. The dream indicates to let go of old things(=coffin, fire) as a preparation for the “marriage”(=coffin, different body).Ra SeleneThank you! But there has been another warning, now not in a dream. He went to his friend's wedding and had a bad accident and got traumatized. It could have been worse though. But this happened after i asked to show me another sign of what the dream meant. GeminiKaratYou are welcome. An accident in real life means to me to slow down a little bit and reflect. It is good to see that your boyfriend is alive.I wish you a lot of happy moments with your boyfriend!
