Yanmorg | I have been involved with my Cancer man for a little over 3 years now. During our 'relationship' my Cancer male would ignore me one month then the next, act like I'm the only girl that ever mattered to him. I would ask him why he does this and he says it's not just me, he does this to everyone when he's feeling depressed or down about something. He moved back to his home state about a year ago so of course I don't expect anything serious or even to talk to him as much, but it still puzzles me that he will ignore me for months at a time then start talking to me again (sometimes about our future together when he moves back down here) as if nothing has happened or he wasn't just ignoring my texts and calls months before that. He has even told me that he has never loved anyone else besides me. His behavior hasn't changed since he moved either. He has always been here one minute and then distant the next. He even does this to his closest family members. I was just wondering is this normal Cancer male behavior? He also has his moon in Libra, Mercury in Cancer, Venus in Taurus, Mars in Virgo. |
Haplesschild* | That's an unevolved man for ya, question is will you continue to take it? You should love yourself more. It must be quite the ego boost for him to know he can do whatever and still you'll be there :/. Always remember actions speak louder than any cheap words. Let him go completely and work on why you would tolerate such behaviour. When I was around 19, I went through something similar and it made me feel so helpless. The man was a Crab too . But then I grew and changed and now I'd never tolerate this again- it's all about setting healthy boundaries and demanding respect. |
Randall | Welcome! |
charlie | We do do that. When we don't REALLY care about you..I've done it and every single Cancer I have ever met have done it. Ignore him and he MIGHT shape up. Highly unlikely tho.. |
Haplesschild* | Yeah my cancer ex did it fir the first 4 months of the relationship, but then he stopped and was alot more consistent for the next 1+ years, once he got more attached I think. But nobody should hang around, it's a waste of time when you could be with someone else reliable and stable. |
Odette | quote: Mercury in Cancer,
You don't have a water Mercury yourself, right? I'm thinking you Mercury is probably Libra...? This makes all the difference to my answer lol... That's why I'm asking.

Actually, my mercury is in Scorpio but my moon is in Libra. |
ail221 | Cancer female here. It depends sometimes I care about the person sometimes I don't. I generally need regenerative time because I am usually not the type of person that whines to other people about my problems in order to find a solution nor do I want to spread my mood to another person so I detach and do some internal searching. |
