T O P I C R E V I E Wlilypad18Hi everyone, I wanted to reach for your opinion on a thing about college.Right now I am deciding to change what I am doing at college, economics, and do Advertising and Public Relations (Still in college)But I have some doubts about if I'll be happy with this or good at it, and I would like some opinions on if I would be able to go there. I just have the feeling that I must go thereI have a lot of air in my chart, since I have a Libra Sun, Aquarius Moon in 10th house, tightly conjuncting my Aquarius MC, and a Gemini Rising. I also have the Uranus-Neptune conjunction in 9th house, Uranus in Aquarius and Neptune in Capricorn. What are your thoughts on this?Thanks!!the89freespiritHi, lilypad, and welcome!First off, if you have the Moon conjunct the Midheaven, always follow your gut when it comes to career/life choices. Don't second guess your instincts. That placement means that they'll lead you to success if you trust them. That's true for a lot of people but manifests very powerfully for those with Moon conjunct MC (I know because I have it! ) You said you had the feeling and I think that's this aspect talking. If you're not emotionally fulfilled in your direction, you're going to find it hard to function at it. Uranus conjunct Neptune in the 9th means that you are looking for real freedom through higher learning and that it can uplift you, in a spiritual sort of way. Uranus in the 9th, specifically, can mean a lot of abrupt changes in your path to higher knowledge. You are looking to experiment throughout your journey and try a lot of different things. And Neptune in the 9th might make things on that journey a little confusing. Basically, I think these aspects speak to what you're talking about. I'd recommend you go for it, not even based on astrology alone. You never know what'll happen until you try. As far as your actual choice, I always think it can be a bit misguided and simplistic to say someone should do a specific profession based on their chart (unless it's a planet or sign that hugely influences their chart). Aspects to the Midheaven, I think, show what your career should involve or demand, in order for you to be successful. So, with the Moon conjunct the MC, moving and affecting people on a subconscious/emotional level is often the key to success, which you could definitely do in advertising or public relations. ------------------Check out My Astrology Blog: http://astroarena12.blogspot.comlilypad18thank you so much!!! i didnt know about trusting my guts with the moon conjuncting my mcI also have 5th house north node which tells me to follow my heart, and I thought this was an example hahahahahahathanks again!the89freespirit quote:Originally posted by lilypad18:thank you so much!!! i didnt know about trusting my guts with the moon conjuncting my mcI also have 5th house north node which tells me to follow my heart, and I thought this was an example hahahahahahathanks again!Well, that's probably an influence, too.
