T O P I C R E V I E Wana_beeSo I’m 34 years old and never ever experienced this aspect in a romantic situation .. until now. And I must say, I can feel now, what the difference is, to having it in a relationship and not having it.They say one aspect isn’t enough to determine true love..but this one pretty much feels like it. It’s like, even when the circumstances aren’t ideal, even when the sex isn’t the best you’ve had, even when the conversations aren’t the wittiest, this person just always seems to have a warm spot in your heart. You can’t get really angry at them. You always give them the benefit of a doubt. And most and foremost you want to see them happy.. in that sense that their happiness doesn’t compete with yours. It’s just as important and you feel almost selfless about it. If you broke up, you’d still care about them, in a non-possessive genuine way. Hikaru29I'm also experiencing this aspect for the first time in a romantic relationship. Very loving and caring is what I feel. We often express our feelings for each other which is very positive energy for a relationship. An affectionate aspect.EDIT: I should've mentioned that it was the sun-venus-Mercury stellium I have. LaceyLeighI would like to say that was true for me, but I know plenty of people that I have this aspect with in the composite, some I have the full love stellium with and they still irk me. Some of the conjunctions are exact as well. I could never fully relate to it.GalacticCoreExplosion (Wry sardonic smile), I had a close Sun Venus Mercury conjunction in early Pisces in the 7th House composite with someone. There was definitely intense and deep potential there, but she allowed unconscious fears gained in the past, to affect the now. Though I became fully conscious of that past and told her, she still didn't want to deal with it. It was easier to run away from difficult feelings than face things and deal with them. Composite is 2nd to the basic synastry anyways. Without the right blend of the latter, the former doesn't matter much in and of itself. ana_bee quote:Originally posted by GalacticCoreExplosion: (Wry sardonic smile), I had a close Sun Venus Mercury conjunction in early Pisces in the 7th House composite with someone. Sorry to hear that. Sounds almost like the situation I’m in with my boyfriend right now. He also has issues, which hinder the natural flow between us. We also have the Stellium with Mercury involved in 7th house, there’s even vertex in between. I was hoping this was a somewhat lasting aspect. How long did your relationship last? Saggy7I have had this aspect in both of my most meaningful relationships. We are still in touch. It's love and care for that person for the rest of your lives, feels like, in my case.Saggy7 quote:Originally posted by GalacticCoreExplosion: Composite is 2nd to the basic synastry anyways. I feel like reading this forum a lot of people put the emphasis on the composite rather than synastry, but I would actually like to agree with you instead. If you might have anything else to add on the subject, I'd love to hear it. Thankshearttreasure quote:Originally posted by Saggy7: Hi Galactic, this caught my attention. Lots of deeply wounded people out there it seems. Just a month and a half. I was cut off after expressing some dissatisfaction with her inconsistent and inconsiderate communication style. Thanks Don't have too much to add except that Synastric comparison shows level and kind of attraction and how the energies initially mesh and interact. Composite is more about a formed relationship and the focus(es) of same, as a relationship. If the person I had spoken of earlier and I had gotten into a deeper, committed relationship, the composite outlined that a very deep and intense closeness with a strong emphasis on spirituality, service to others, very strong/conscious psychic and heart connection, etc, could have developed. For some reason, I occasionally dream about her. There does seem to be a very strong spiritual, energetic, and karmic connection between us, but in the 3D, the ball is in her court, and I'm so over/done with chasing. teaselI have this with someone, although Mercury/Venus is closer in aspect (I think), and this is the way I feel. We also have Mars/Sun in the composite mix, along with Mercury/Venus/Chiron, so we can argue, too. I think he feels the same way - or, he says that he does. AriesLilithBoth the composite and the synastry are relevant. They show complementary information of what’s there. Astrology is a system that shows what’s there, it’s not exactly a matter of which is more relevant. In meaningful relationships one may find such telling aspects that it makes you feel goosebumps. In the composite you may see the dynamic of the relation, while in synastry how each other are perceived. For example, you may find a pattern in the people you find attractive (like a Venus or Moon position). The aspect which shows how they are is then perceived by you (how their aspects are aspecting your aspects, which shows your own perception and personality).GalacticCoreExplosion Sure, both are relevant, but as stated earlier, without the right combo of synastry the composite won't ever even matter. Synastry shows the level/degree and kinds of attraction and interaction. If the right ingredients aren't there, then the composite part will never even form. One is definitely more foundational than the other. But that doesn't mean that anyone is saying that they aren't both relevant. Just putting them into their proper perspective/place in the bigger picture. Some things in life are non linear and some more step by step. This is definitely a case of the latter more so.
