ChildofVenus | What would having this in synastry indicate? Would this be binding like the square, opposition and the conjunction?
|
CardinalT-Square | I've had it by sign with a couple ladies in addition to their Saturn Contra-Parallel my Moon. What do you wanna know? |

Thanks for replying did it feel binding? Could you actually feel the energy from the Saturn contra-parallel Moon aspect? I know it's similar to Moon opposition Saturn. But did it actually feel that way to you? |
CardinalT-Square | It's kinda hard for me to say because I have such strong Venus/Mars aspects with both ladies, so the sexual tension is stronger than anything, but one of them I use to work with kept hinting at being in a relationship, and would tell other co-workers that we were together, we never met each other's folks so nothing ever went beyond just talking about it. We also had Venus conjunct Saturn as well. The other girl, I don't really see much and haven't had a conversation with yet, it's just more of a "can't keep our eyes of each other" scenario at the moment. |
Graham | I have Moon at 8Cancer30 (in 10th), qcx the natal Saturn of my 4-years-old great-granddaughter (at 10Sagittarius10, in 9th).We like each other (perhaps because her Sun is conjunct my Jupiter, but she calls the shots (perhaps because her Mars is conjunct my Venus) and is definitely the 'grown-up"/responsible-Saturn in the relationship. ... However, I have no doubt that my Moon will always admire her Saturn's Sagittarius honesty and openness - and that her Saturn will always know my OK-Moon feels she is OK too. |

What do you mean by "binding"?

I know that people often say it - but do not know what they mean by "binding". However, I am conscious of the need to make my great grandchild feel secure during childhood - which inhibits my instinctive/habitual/natural way of behaving when she is around. And, in that context, the relationship is restrictive/"binding" for me (as the moon partner). Moreover, I suspect that she will (and perhaps already does) try not to behave in a way that she feels my 10th house moon might disapprove of. But, as she gets older, I shall be encouraging her to not be bound by (her perceived) expectations of others. Does this answer your question? |

Thanks for explaining when people say binding I believe they mean like keeping two people together. Or that the Saturn person feels responsible and committed to the Moon person. For example, I have Moon conjunct Saturn in synastry with someone. We have been through a lot but it seems like no matter what we always stick together. I feel a sense of responsibility for him and it seems like he knows this and sees me as stable and reliable. It makes things feel restricted but also solid. |

Quincunx is different than opposite of square in synastry . AKA inconjunct alternatively so it’s like... moon and Saturn in the relationship are too different from each other. moon not be listening to Saturn’s guidance while Saturn would not be able to relate to moon’s feelings. I believe which is frustrating for both. But just my opinion it may still work out if others aspect shows emotional understandings and commitment in the synastry |

In that context ... this does indeed feel like a binding relationship to me. |
