T O P I C R E V I E Wenchantress299So I just had to share this, because in retrospect, it was kind of funny. So yesterday I went to go meet a Meetup group to go tubing in the mountains. As we were meeting in the parking lot to carpool, one of the girls who was there offhandedly said: "Well, I hope everything goes well today. The horoscope for today wasn't very good." So I kind of looked at her funny and said: "Oh yeah? Why's that?" And she said: "Well, if you're a Pisces, it says that you will be in peril today." I laughed and said: "Well, I'm not a Pisces, I'm a Virgo." She said: "I'm a Virgo too." And the guys who were standing nearby each said that they were a Sagittarius and a Leo respectively. So we all laughed and said: "We should be ok." However, perhaps the astrologer who wrote that was not too far off the mark in general... The tubing trip was a disaster. It was poorly planned and we didn't end up getting onto the water until late. My tube was crap, but luckily it didn't pop. The water was FREEZING. Long story short, it got windy and started raining, and not just raining- torrential downpour. We ended up having to get off the river probably a mile or two where we were supposed to be and we were all shivering without clothes or anything(and I think some people were probably close to hypothermia honestly). Luckily a woman in the group was able to flag down a truck, so we all (all 10 of us at least) hopped in the back and took us to the main bank of cars, but a group of us were still separated from the others (the car that I was in) and so we had to find where they ended up. Luckily we found them and got back ok. So all's well that end's well, but it was weird because I just couldn't shake that feeling from the beginning of the trip that something was going to go wrong (and it did- all of it). So does anyone else have a funny eerily accurate horoscope moment that they would like to share? ariesdragonCan't recall any but if I do I will share You guys had 1 heck of an experience though!Glad u guys survived it unscathed sweet-scorpionI had transiting Mercury opposite Venus, the aspect that generally means miscommunications in love, the day a weird guy I know gave me a HUGE random love confession and I did not reciprocate in his feelings. At all. Awkward! It was eerily accurate. I couldn't believe how well it played into my day. :0enchantress299Thanks Ariesdragon, for the well wishes. We were lucky, that is certain. To be honest, I had kind of forgotten that she had even said that until the end of the day when everything had settled down. Then I was reminded, and I thought it was interesting, so I wondered how many people had predictive type astrology experiences, even with simple pop astrology predictions. Honestly, usually when I'm looking at transits, I'm looking after the event has already happened (since I don't like to run my life based on the 5 day planet forecast). I did actually look at the transits for this particular event after the fact, and tUranus is conjuncting my nMoon exact and tNorth Node is conjuncting my nUranus exact (and they are all figuring in to my natal fire grand trine). I thought Uranus might have something to do with this particular adventure. Sweet-scorpion- That is eerily accurate. lol. Too bad it ended up as an awkward situation. I never have been too good with feeling the effects of Venus transits myself, but I have a natal retrograde Venus, so maybe that has something to do with it. violet7887Yess I doo When I was in my early teens I visited family in India. India for me really is a enchanting place. Anyway, my family and I were staying in the City mostly but then my cousin insisted we go and visit his mother (My aunt) at her country house(which is such a beautiful place). Anyway, around were she lives if you walk far enough out of town there is like this HUGE vast space of nothing surronded by farmland. Right in the center is a MASSIVE tree. I mean this tree is HUGEEE, god knows how old it is. There is one single grave little distence away from the tree in the vast space of nothing. One of the days, me my brother, sister and cousins went walking about and my youngest cousin brought a local newspaper along. Everyone started to read there horoscopes and it said usual things like "your day will be good or bad." Then I asked what does mine say? My sister looked it up and froze. Under Gemini it said " Go to the big tree at sunset and something important will be revealed..". SERIOSULY. Thats what it said. Everyone looked at each other for a bit in shock. We all ran home and talked about it for a bit. Everyone kept saying you HAVE to go to the tree at sunset! In truth, my mind was saying HELL NO but someting in my heart and gut (and prob my 8th house Sun and Pluto domination) were saying you know you want to know.So I did not go alone, when the sun was setting we all went together with our dog skipping along. You will not belive it but as soon as we got there the dog stopped. He is ususally very hyperr. he started to bark non stop, guess what he was barking at? The grave. I moved closer to the grave, the dog came up behind me to the grave and started to bark like crazyyy at one spot, non stop. All of a sudden I think we all got really scared and my sister pulled me away and was like okkkayy were going back home noww. That was it, but yeah that was def my weirdest "horoscope" story.enchantress299Wow Violet! That is an oddly specific horoscope reading. The grave at the bottom of the tree sounds really creepy too. That could be a really good beginning to a horror story or something. The tree/grave was calling to you... Ooooweeeooo... lol. violet7887 quote:Originally posted by enchantress299:Wow Violet!
