T O P I C R E V I E WLehia2I understand that mercury influences the way we communicate and think. Would that also include what topics we choose/like to talk about?. The reason I'm asking is my boyfriend of 6 months keeps bringing up children and marriage and how much he wants to spend the rest of his life with me in our conversations. No matter what we're talking about, he'll find a way to bring that up. His Mercury is in Cancer. While I love him like crazy, and I really like him saying that, I feel like it's all too quick. On the other side, his a Leo Sun/Saggie Moon/Gem Venus/Virgo Mars. At first his Venus in Gemini did raise a bit of red flag for me, and at the beginning of the relationship I never really thought it would get this serious.I find it hard to believe that someone with that chart would be inclined to that kind of a lifestyle. He's also pretty conservative. I know that a natal chart doesn't mean everything and the way we were raised influences us a lot more, but I just can't help wondering if what he's saying is because he thinks he wants it, but if it actually happened, he wouldn't be able to handle it. He also has Venus trine Saturn so I also wonder if that has anything to do with it.Ami AnneMercury is the mind and all that emanates from the mind such a show one communicates, if it is easy, if it is hard, if one can express oneself with ease or not and also the things that occupy the mind.Mercury in Scorpio thinks about sex a lot. For example, I've got a 5th house Mercury in Aquarius and it's the ruler of my 9th (Gemini) and 12th (Virgo) houses. I love to do/play games/puzzles, perform (and I love when people ask me about these things, too), talk/think about God, philosophy, and "mental travel" like books, and subconsious thinks like the meaning of dreams and hidden motivations and desires (like exploring my own subconscious). You mentioned that he has Mars in Virgo and Saturn trine Venus and both those could indicate a more conservative person, though the chart as a whole needs to be considered What house is his Mercury in and which houses does it rule?StarlightSmileSupremeMy Libra Mercury just wants to listen to music 24/7.Jkitty quote:Originally posted by StarlightSmileSupreme:My Libra Mercury just wants to listen to music 24/7.THAT sounds like a 12th house residency or aspect to NepTUNE. So many Leo men are inclined to have that lifestyle. The most likely sign in a man to desire kids and a family.
