To answer your question, I think the sextile can balance it out. Neptune and Venus square in the composite can be tricky. From what I understand of it, you could idealize the relationship without seeing what is real. Look at the spiritual component of your relationship and try to evaluate how strong it is, what it represents, etc. That will begin to tell you if you are viewing it as real vs illusion.
With the sextile to Saturn, the key is communication. Yes, there is the tendency towards a lasting bond, but Saturn makes you work for it. Actually, I think if the spiritual component is there with neptune/venus, it can help support what is going on with this sextile and add to the duration of the relationship, but it has to be real, if that makes sense. Its really tough to determine what is real and what is fantasy with Neptune involved here, but if the spiritual side is genuine, you should see an enhancement with the link to Saturn.
This is just my opinion and of course, other factors would come into play in a composite. But hopefully this helps with piecing together what you see.
