T O P I C R E V I E WChar25Hi Guys! Can anyone explain the differences in the energy/presence etc of those who are Neptune heavy vs those who are pluto heavy? I know both have great emotional depth but I believe they come across to others as having farily different energies? Often evident in a love of art, really revelling in that but to me it's when a touch of that us brought into the ordinary that I feel that energy. This could be like plutonians in that there's a mystery, something hidden but the energy of that is something enchanting that's hidden. Whereas plutonians .. The hidden world seems darker. Which is pretty similar to the creepy desc BeholdAstarteTo me, there's an intense curiosity to plutonians, something about them shows depth, like they could know a lot of interesting things and typically their taste reflects in that too, in the way they dress, present themselves with a distant air of mystery but extremely magnetic and charming at the same time. pluto is also very analytical and obsessive, so more honed into specific things whereas I feel like Neptune is dispersed out everywhere and more nebulous. When Pluto is in the 1st house it's expression can be more forceful so it can rub people the wrong way, it's intensity can get extreme reactions from people, prolly cause it's a Mars house and direct. I honestly feel like because Neptune is so open and malleable that it tends to blend in easier to me than Pluto, theirs something striking about plutonians, where as Neptune is more subtle and has a different kind of sparkle and magnetism, also, there's more of a quiet, spaciness to neptuniuns, unless there are Mars placements or other strong influences like fire and such, but Neptunes kindness is very evident, it's the way Neptune makes you feel, the sparkle in their eye when they absorb into you and the warmth and feeling of being completely understood. Both planets are very creative but Neptune tends to be softer and more mellow to me where as Pluto is more dramatic and filled with depth and complexity.girlwiththerainysoulpluto is the vampire, neptune is the victimPixieJaneGiven that I'm pretty much both Neptunian and Plutonian (and my natal Pluto is sextile Neptune), I'm finding this thread very interesting. Electro DGXI feel like Pluto and Neptune would be a roller coaster and a water slide respectively. The roller coaster is intense and jumpy, fills you with pure excitement, while the water slide is smooth and leads down into a huge pool of water (the world of imagination). ------------------Scorpio AscendantAquarius Sun in 4thGemini Moon in 8thCheck out my blog ya'll: www.electrodgxtalks.wordpress.comcottonballI don't really understand questions like these because All the planets have different energies But I'll answer cause I got time to kill First of all Neptune doesn't have depth. It has empathy, it has compassion, it has spirituality. If you look at the water signs, Cancer is "my emotions" it's a personal sign, Scorpio is "our emotions" it's a social sign and Pisces is "the collective emotions" it's a universal sign. Neptune symbolizes what exists beyond the body and self and ego, that which connects us all. The "depth" Neptune has is an out of body, religious/spiritual God-like Jesus/Buddha whatever you like, understanding of the part of the universe not ruled by Saturn(the tangible). Neptune is boundary-less (opposite of Saturn) and the 12th house rules that which exists between death and rebirth - the spiritual realm. It's a Planet associated with Monks and priests and nuns and spiritual folk who wish to be devoted to that realm...Okay so why is it associated with addicts and liars and cheaters? Because every planet has a darker/lesser side. Neptunian people don't feel they belong in the Saturn world we live in. Neptune has stripped them of boundaries and structure and left them resembling skinned jellyfish. Eventually the onslaught of the earthy world will be too much for them and they'll start acting up in self-destructive ways. It's not really their fault. While the rest of us have nice thick coats to shield us from the storm they have nothing. Every pain is felt more intensely. So they find ways to temporarily escape the Saturn realm and return to the Neptune one.....and we all know how that works out. What they need is to re-connect with Neptune in a healthy way...like creativity or spirituality or charity. Pluto is completely different. It symbolizes the dark side of life, something all Pluto people encounter. If you look at the charts of people murdered or rape & child abuse survivors you'll find Pluto. People who were bullied or lived through something extremely traumatic like war or grew up in a home of domestic abuse, you'll find Pluto. Pluto will permanently transform you through a traumatic emotional experience, leaving you with a deep wound that will always haunt you and sabotage any emotional experiences you have until you learn....whatever the heck Pluto is trying to teach you. A lot of Pluto people also have Neptune hard aspects. Twice as vulnerable. They look to *escape* their Pluto memories. It's kinda hard to find meaning in terrible experiences and justify it, but you could look at Pluto highlighting what's left of us to evolve from and what should be left behind. The question is why is it the victim that must carry this burden and not the perpetrators? Because the perpetrators were once victims and chose to sink and not swim. To fall instead of rise. Pluto folk are carrying something quite heavy and difficult and it's not always easy to be around them - even if you're Plutonian yourself. They don't have a lot of trust to give and are pathologically suspicious - and for good reason. Pluto has put a bullseye on their head and they seem to meet Pluto wherever they go. Wherever they go someone is out to get them and it's not their imagination(okay sometimes it is! they can be paranoid). Plutonians seem to cannibalize each other. They sniff each other out and try to take the other out (I'm referring to the lower Pluto types), like two predators fighting over a territory. It's win or die. And even if you're trying to rise, you'll still meet these lower types. The fear of death (actual or symbolic) is always in their thoughts. Seems kind of strange that the people marinated in Pluto are the most afraid of symbolic death. Maybe because unlike the rest of us they've actually been through it.To sum up:Neptune is a complex and helpless spiritual being lost in the physical plane trying to cope.Pluto is scarred therefore dark, smoldering, emotionally intense and fixated on its own survival. Kannon McAfeePluto is the higher octave of Mars and resonates saturated red. Strongly Plutonian people have an edge or 'contained fire', are heavier/steadier/stronger, more self-possessed, don't like help or apologizing. The eyes tend to be dark or hard to read. Neptune is the higher octave of Venus and resonates saturated blue. Strongly Neptunian types can seem especially sweet, dreamy, want to please, vulnerable/impressionable, don't mind help, are far more likely to apologize. The eyes tend to be more puppy dog or have a plaintiff or sympathetic look.It can be hard to find examples of people who exemplify either one strongly without other astrological qualifiers.------------------The Declinations GuyRising Sign Descriptions | Expert rectification♈ ♉ ♊ ♋ ♌ ♍ ♎ ♏ ♐ ♑ ♒ ♓
