Solar_Leo_Queen | What does this usually mean in a horary chart? How does the planet translating the light affect the significators it's separating from and applying to? Does this apply to co-significators as well? ------------------ Gemini Rising Sun in Leo (2nd house) Moon in Cancer (1st house) Mercury in Virgo (3rd house conj.) Venus in Virgo (3rd house) Mars in Libra (5th house) "You were born a lion. Don't die a sheep." ~ Leos ♌️ |
Dancing Maenad | I see the third planet as a sort of "mediator" between the two. This applies when the main significators are separating, so there was some sort of falling out or their timing was missed. This 3rd planet who translates the lights gives a second chance to perfection and usually carries something from one sig to the other (usually crucial information that can alter the outcome). Sometimes it can be a situation or an object though that is a bit rarer - point is translation of light cannot happen without outside help, the planets cannot get back into contact on their own (unless the separating one retrogrades but that is not the point here). ------------------ ~the raving one dancing in the nude~ |
Solar_Leo_Queen | What if the planet translating the light is in retrograde? |
Dancing Maenad | Then there might be some misunderstandings or delays, but as long as the light is carried from one significator to the other, you're fine, the answer is yes. Just make sure it doesn't turn direct before reaching the second significator. ------------------ ~the raving one dancing in the nude~ |
