lunacrab1 | Okay, first of all what does bQ mean as an aspect? Also is this an unusual amount of negative aspects: Sun square Saturn moon square mars moon semi square saturn moon conjunct mc mercury square pluto venus square saturn mars opposed jupiter mars conjunct uranus mars square mc jupiter opposed uranus saturn semi square uranus uranus square mc neptune conjunct acIt kind of worried me because theres only one or two trines and a couple of sextiles too. |
Isis | My understanding of squares and other "hard" aspects are that they present challenges and areas of difficulty in your life. I think it's kinda cool (although admittedly depressing) because it's like having a guide book on what to work on for personal growth, what things tend to get in your way, cause you problems with various areas of your life, etc. I mean, sure we'd all rather have no hard aspecs and be a planet of divinities w/out flaws, but if you have to be flawed, I think astrology can often cut years out of things like counselling by directing you to the heart of the manner immediately, rather than looking at the manifestations of your problems and having to sift through and beyond those to get to the root of the matter. As to what the individual ones mean, in general and to you, I'll leave to the experts |
lunacrab1 | I understand that, but it's my daughters, and I don't want her to have difficulties, you know? Does anyone know what bq means? |
Isis | I understand...unfortunately nobody gets through life scot free of BS But I understand your desire most definitely - bQ means biQuintile aspect (angle of 144 degrees), it's a minor aspect, and I think it has something to do with conciousness and one's potential for mastery? Which is totally ambiguous...sorry I wouldn't take much notice of it unless it's exact to 1.5 degrees or less... |

lunacrab1 | Okay. thanks. |
lalalinda | according to "predictive astrology" by Frances Sakoian and Louis Acker a bi-quintile aspect at 144 degrees conferes special insight into utilizing creative self expression and improving existing conditions this minor aspect is not negative and a nice little plus in any ones chart. |
proxieme | I mean, sure we'd all rather have no hard aspecs and be a planet of divinities w/out flaws Gah. That seems like it'd be kinda boring...kinda like wonder bread topped with vanilla pudding. Or always eating vitamin-fortified SPAM...not much thought or struggle involved in the whole process, y'know? Where's the fun in that? |
lllog | My response is colored by my belief system, but I think that without "hard" aspects as you call them, we wouldn't have the challenmges we need to face in life in order for our souls to evolve. I also believe that some souls take a vacation lifecycle because of a perticurally bad life cycle. Lanny |
lalalinda | Lanny that is so true,I also believe that our lives are predestined. I have a child with alot of squares in her chart(9) and when she was a baby I worried, but found out that that these squares were just hurdles for her to get by while growing into her own "person" She has the BEST personality, is a sweet girl and makes me proud everyday. |
lunacrab1 | Good point. Thanks for the help anyway. Its just kind of easy sometimes to wish everything was easy, but I know if my life had been easy, I wouldn't be half the person I am. Not in spite of but because of the difficulties. So your right. |
Randall | ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca Clark |
Randall | I don't consider any aspect to be negative. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca Clark |
Isis | Lucky you From where I'm sitting my "hard" aspects seem pretty negative - sure its room to improve, but they suck all the same |
Randall | You'll accomplish more and have a much more rewarding Life with lots of harsh aspects than lots of so-called favorable ones. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca Clark |
lllog | If you have ever worked out at a club then you know that only by working with more weight can you grow physically stronger. The old saying that "No pain, no gain" holds true in life as well as sports. Lanny |
Randall | *bump* ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca Clark |

Wednesday | OK so the challenges need to be conquered. How? The negative aspects wouldn't likely to shift itself to trines or the more easier aspects, so I'm pretty much stuck... I seem so negative now. Pardon me, I'm at the bad end of my bipolarity. |
wilsontc | Wednesday, Challenges can be conquered by doing the work it takes to conquer them. Figure out what the "problem" is and take steps to overcome it. It also might help to rethink what a "negative" aspect is. Two aspects commonly called "negative" are squares and oppositions. However, we can also see these aspects as: - Squares - Energy needs to be combined with - Opposition - Energy is over-excited by So when we have a square in our chart it is an opportunity to combine 2 strong energies together into a still stronger energy. And when we have an opposition in our chart, it indicates an excitement in the way we do things as we balance between two completely different ways of being. Our chart is what we make it. Wednesday | Hullo Tim, First of all let me just say that your answer calms me down. You're like a sage or something and I just want to thank you for your presence. Back to astrology. I have 2 T-Squares that seem to challenge me in the matter of relationships. I have Moon opposition Mars, squared by Neptune, and Moon opposition Venus, also squared by Neptune. Venus and Mars are conjuncted. I noticed that Moon opposition Mars makes me some kind of a troublemaker. For Moon opposition Venus, I don't know... maybe it has something to do with how people see me? Neptune is the focal planet for both T-Squares, and probably it contributes to my delusional tendency. Oh, and Neptune also squared my Ascendant. So... Moon, Venus, and Mars energies need to be combined with Neptune, and Moon energy is over-excited by Venus and Mars? How to combine it... and how over-excited the Moon is? I hope I don't confuse you, as I confused myself while writing this. OK I'm done for now. The answers seem to be floating above my chart, I'm just having a hard time defining it. Thank you, Wednesday |
