T O P I C R E V I E WdarkdreamerHello,I wonder what role Juno plays for synastry.I have noticed some kind of a pattern in my own synastrycharts.Juno is very often conjunct Amor and Mars (or even trine) and aspecting Psyche and ERos, too. There`s also the Amor-Psyche and Eros-Mars-aspect, which appears very often, too.But these Juno-Amor, Juno-Mars, Juno-Psyche and Juno-Eros-aspects actually puzzle me a lot. What could those mean?Or what does Juno mean in synastry generally?DDblue moon http://en.allexperts.com/q/Astrology-2205/Juno.htm Expert: Zane B SteinDate: 4/23/2007Subject: JunoQuestionI have been recently researching Juno and I discovered a forum where there seemed to be a consensus that Juno was not representative of marriage but rather indicated one's issues surrounding betrayal or, more specifically, "what betrayal issue are you married to?"I thought this was rather interesting since my Juno is in the 3rd house (communication) in Virgo (ruled by Mercury) and my betrayal issue(s) have always been associated with a lack of proper communication which began in my family as a child. My Juno also conjuncts my IC.I am wondering what you think of Juno personally and if you see merit to this idea of Juno associated with the 'internal marriage' and/or betrayal. Thanks!~ C. Love AnswerHi Chantelle,This is an excellent question, but the answer is a bit complex. The problem with assigning 'marriage' to one body is that it is only a part of the truth. Venus, two, can show something about marriage. So can the 7th house, anything in the 7th house, and planets in the 7th house.Juno IS connected to marriage. It shows one's power, or lack of it, in the marriage. It often describes many aspects of the marriage partner, and can be a good gauge if a person tends to attract partners that try to dominate the relationship, or that desire to surrender their power to the partner. Basically, you can get a good idea about the equality, or lack of it, with one's partner by looking to Juno.It can also, though, show what you mentioned....about betrayal. Again, it is an issue of power. When we let ourselves be betrayed, in the same way, more than once, we have an issue where we do not take ownership of our power, or at least not all of it. Taking responsibility for this ... for our own power, and the consequences of using it....will free us from succumbing to issues of betrayal.Juno is also other things. If Jupiter is finding 'meaning' in life, through religion and philosophy, Juno is also what we, personally, get out of that found meaning...such as, what a person gets out of his or her religion. And if you think about it, one's philosophy of life has a lot to do with how one handles personal power, anyway.Best wishes,Zane darkdreamerBlue moon, thank you for this link.I understand theoretically what he sais. But could you give me an example how it would transfer to a relationship?DDblue moonI'd have to think about that - Juno is new to me, as well!NodeA long time ago I read the article that focuses on Juno representing the partner *we deserve* or perhaps *need* as opposed to the romantic idealized vision. Modern marriage and specifically western style *marriage* represent a very different view of the contract of union legalized in a sense through religion and the natives *court*. I think Juno represents marriage as a contract in the old school way, in that two working in tandem together are stronger against the tides of life than one. Pallas represents these legal issues as well, but I Dont want to stray here.In order to have a successful marriage contract or union many different layers of relating should be in place. I think Juno represents partnership through the legalized concepts of marriage, beneficial indicators as a team, not romantic or physical attraction, alone.blue moonWell according to this I "need a sex machine for a partner": http://www.bobmarksastrologer.com/Juno21.3.html Bob always gets it right. AnswerHi Chantelle,
This is an excellent question, but the answer is a bit complex.
The problem with assigning 'marriage' to one body is that it is only a part of the truth. Venus, two, can show something about marriage. So can the 7th house, anything in the 7th house, and planets in the 7th house.

I think that Juno/Hera is a Libra/Scorpio theme
the asteroid number for Hera is 103
Because my college professor had Juno conjunct my Uranus
my co worker has Juno conjunct my IC
and I very much felt the attraction in these situations.
