I tend to find the Mars-Venus dynamic presumptive in nature... to think that they represent something as counterparts with each other (Men are not from Mars, and woman are not from Venus). Imo, Venus wants to be with Jupiter, and Mars wants to be the Sun, it also takes orders from Saturn lol. Venus just likes for the sake of it anyways. In the case of the square or hard aspects, its not necessarily pleasant to her how mars behaves but she is receiving energy by Mars, causing the both to act on it. Squares are actions oriented aspects aka “tension” which is conducive to creation however in odds as it is *frustrated*. Mars wants to dominate [Venus] (doesn’t matter which gender is Mars in this case.) I, and plenty of other woman, have been Mars in this aspect, so worth looking back at which man’s Venus (taste, style) you dominated, to better relate.
I met someone recently (a roommate in a long term sublet) who’s Mars conjunct my Venus and Venus conjunct my Mars. It doesn’t mean anything romantically, it won’t qualify a relationship. I think it just expressed itself as we watched how each other move around when we were in the same room.
Draconic is not meant to neutralize anything in *synastry*, I don’t think the past life higher self conception is meant to be shared, that it’s only relative to one’s own birth chart and only it, moreso, I would think that if the Draconic person doesn’t have a planet at that exact point in their natal, the imprint from Draconic point is not even at play in their life to begin with. Like in my case, my Draconic DC is exactly conjunct my natal Venus. That’s already activated, *maybe then* if someone aspects my Venus does my Draconic chart receive additional outside energy. To add, in the case of how experimental Draconic overlay is, I only consider conjunctions for the sake of harmonic implications in any of this math.
I give more precedence to Draconic to Draconic as a past life narrative (and then only angles and sun/moon) than Draconic to Natal in synastry without the inherent conditions I elaborated above.
I’m going to an Edgar Cayce lecture tonight so if the topic comes up I will ask, because I have a similar curiosity of this overlay method so many people find themselves performing.
As for a Composite, no it won’t save the parties from the individualized synastry square. If the Composite were a conjunction maybe it resonates louder, because that’s highly concentrated, but again, Venus-Mars are not mystical counterparts, so there’s no reason to inflate their relationship in tokenism. Their relationship is quite brutish imo, mostly physical and appearances. I don’t mean to demote sex in this regard as we need a base to enact from. Any aspect between them in Composite garnishes this eventual dynamic that’s already latent in synastry, meaning it only emphasizes it. Some might say in composites that Mars represents the male in the relationship, and Venus the female, and from there one can decide each person’s affect from the relationship depending on the aspects, but iunno, we might then see whatever we want to see on those terms. Red herring being narratives as opposed to energetic dynamics.
If you want to look for deception look at Neptune (rules illusions, doesn’t matter if it’s positive or negative) and any 12th house overlays. I’ve read that in Composite charts, the 12th house points to the relationships “undoing”.
This is so detailed. Wow I actually believe I have a mars/venus conjunction on my synastry
