Not that insane. My husband's Psyche is conjunct my Eros; he's told me, without reservation, that he cannot, under any circumstances, be happy without me. Period. He is completed and fulfilled by me; the way I accept him, show him unconditional love, and allow him to be completely himself. Naturally, this is expressed most intensely through intimacy (Scorpio).Psyche, I've heard, is 'love's longing', and Psyche will search aeternally until she finds Eros, as he's the one for whom she's searching. It seems then, that when Psyche is conjunct Eros in synastry, the Psyche feels complete and fulfilled by Eros. I'm still trying to learn what Eros' take on it. I think it's very possessive and protective; nurturing and guiding.
I'm not seeing degrees here, so I'm mildly concerned with the orb.
Looks like Tim's Eros is 1º Aquarius or so, and your Psyche is ... 11º? 9º? Either way, anything beyond a 3-5º orb in asteroid-synastry is really pushing it. (If a pattern is established - a valid double-whammy, for instance - orbs can be widened, but not until then.)
Conversely, your Eros is ... 8º Leo? or so, with his Psyche in ... 28º thereabouts.
Given the mutual energy conveyance here - Leo/Aquarius/Aquarius/Leo - it's obviously not invalidated, but with the lack of substantial aspects within orb to support the Eros-Psyche / Psyche-Eros configuration, I'm not sure how active it really is in your synastry.
Natally, you have a pretty tight Eros-Psyche opposition; his, however, is almost a quincunx (1º Aquarius / 28º Leo). So while Eros and Psyche are both tightly linked in your individual charts, you perceive the concept of 'satisfying love's longing' a bit differently. You may feel it's a completion met by two complements; those who balance each other's differences, while he may fear the required adjustment and compromise involved in a soul-bonded relation.
Just some stuff to think about. Hope that sheds some light.
