T O P I C R E V I E WLionFishMost of us know the legend.. Persephone kidnapped by Hades(Pluto), eats in the underworld, is bound to stay because of ingesting the food, but Hades, seeing her sadness at being separated from her mother allows her to return from the underworld for 6 months out of the year (Spring-Summer), but must return for the last 6 (Fall-Winter.) Now, yes she was kidnapped, but Persephone eventually did fall in love with Pluto. And he adored her to the point he named her his queen and married her. Some stories even include that the kidnapping was necessary for Persephone to become her own person, that she needed to be separated from Demeter to grow and change. Pluto was her Fate.So what could Persephone conjunct Pluto in synastry indicate? Fatedness? Separation? Growth for the Persphone individual(me)? I don't think it'd be an unstable thing because Persephone returned to both Hades and Demeter like clock-work, as she loved them both dearly..Any ideas?tgemThis is a good question: What about pluto opposite Persephone as well?Thx!LionFishI think that Persephone/Pluto would have to play a fairly important part in at least one of the people's charts for any aspect between them to be significant. Like Pluto as the ruler of the 5th, 7th, or 8th.. Maybe even the 1st house. Possibly Persephone conjunct or closely aspecting an angle, a personal planet or axis (Vertex/Nodes/midpoints). Persephone moves rather quickly though, making a full pass through the Zodiac in a little over a year. Not exactly "generational."In the synastry chart I'm referring to we have:ASC conj ASCHIS Pluto 16'49 Libra conj MY Persephone 15'56 LibraThe conj is sextile both our Vertexes(Vertices? lol idk) and HIS Jupiter.Plu/Pers conjuncts HIS IC (mine as well, but a bit wide with an orb of 7)HIS Pers square MY Pers HIS Pers trine MY PlutoPlu/Pers conjunction trine HIS MarsIn my natal chart the only aspect I have to Persephone is a sextile from my Vertex and like I said, widely conjunct my IC.His natal, on the other hand, has Persephone (Cancer) sextile his Chiron (Taurus), sextile his NN/Saturn conjunction (Virgo), square his MC (Aries) and semi-sextile his Sun (Leo). And last, but definitely not least, both of our 5th house cusps are Scorpio.tgemI've read persophone trine/sextile pluto is a soulmate aspect..I just do t know how the opposition would play out..tgemI've read persophone trine/sextile pluto is a soulmate aspect..I just do t know how the opposition would play out..ail221Persephone/Proserpina- Pluto are soulmate asteroids. The important factors are whether there is a connection between the asteroids, angles (1/4th/7th/10th), NN/SN, Luminaries, and personal planets. For past life connection look at the draconic charts.
