T O P I C R E V I E Wblack_roseI've been researching Cupido and come across some different ideas about its effect in synastry.I have Cupido conjunct Venus DW with someone else, but we have a lot of other strong aspects that indicate attraction, so I'm having a hard time differentiating this aspect.Ideas/opinions/experiences?XenaEros/Amor/CupidEros was the Greek god of carnal love. In Latin he is called Amor (love) or Cupid (desire).Eros: Erotic love or sexual turn onAmor: Unconditional love, how is expressed (romantic and platonic)Cupido: uncontrollable sexual attraction, infatuationVenus: giving and receiving of loveI think the Cupido person would be infatuated with the Venus person. PlutoSurvivorCupido conjunct VenusCupido would be artificially attracted to Venus. Venus would have a sincere attraction to Cupido. It would play out with great fun for Cupido and heartbreak for Venus. The sign would determine how infatuated or how serious each planet would be. If Sag were involved, more fun; with Scorpio, intensity; with Capricorn, reserve, with Cancer, more emotional intimacy, etc.Of course, you would have to look into your other aspects to determine if there is a theme in the synastry chart.
