T O P I C R E V I E WEclipseThe aspects to the super galactic center, galactic center and great attractor are significant? How many degrees of orb should I consider? I have the galactic center in exact conjunction with my south node, great attractor in conjunction with 2 degrees with pluto and 1 degree with asteroid Atlantis and super galactic center in conjunction with 2 degree with asteroid angel.MoonMystic.. grrr dbl post ..MoonMystic.Eclipse quote:Originally posted by MoonMystic: Eclipse~Speaking from my pov of course, can't speak for everyone ..I'm less about the width (within reason maybe up to 4) of the orb, for me it's more how energies fit. But in my reading/learning the GA+GC are allowed a wider orb by others. Like moon, Jupiter and iir Neptune, the GC+GA expand what they touch. So your Angel (2) asteroid most certainly should be acceptable by others. Have you checked the other angels in your chart too? Or the fixed angels Fomalhaut, Regulus, Antares, Aldebaran? I have Aldebaran in exact conjunction with Saturn, Antares in exact opposition to Saturn, and Regulus is forming an exact trine with the ascendant. So can I consider an orb up to 4 degrees? I have an aspect on my chart very wide 10 degrees but I am very I feel the influence of that aspect, in compensation that same planet that is making a wide aspect is also making a tight aspect 0 degree but I do not feel the influence. So I don't know if the size of the degrees is really significant, I think what really counts is the influence. Even if the aspect is wide and you still feel the influence and have nothing else on my chart to justify it, I think you should take this into consideration.MoonMysticEclipse wrote: quote: I have Aldebaran in exact conjunction with Saturn, Antares in exact opposition to Saturn, and Regulus is forming an exact trine with the ascendant. In my case if I feel the energy even up to higher as you mention I agree with it. The philosophy or rule is not my personal one, just one others who study astrology on here (the mods etc) usually teach. I've seen 3° for planets+luminaries and tighter for asteroids. I'm not as strict in my chart though. Eclipse quote:Originally posted by MoonMystic:Eclipse wrote: In my case if I feel the energy even up to higher as you mention I agree with it. Check Me Out, DUDE. http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/NadjaI have Uranus conjunct Galactic Center, by one degree, and my Sun is opposite the Great Attractor within one degree as well (so in the heliocentric Earth is conjunct GA). I do like to stick to close aspects overall, even with planets and major points, because that is a theme in my chart, and I don't tend to feel those aspects that aren't tight. Super Galactic Center is within 4 degrees of my ascendant, but I don't consider that a conjunction. What I've read about SGC doesn't really fit with me, and from experience I just think 4 degrees is too wide in my case. But I also think it's very individual. If you feel it then it's valid, I can't tell anyone else how they should approach such a thing as orbs.Uranus on the GC probably just acts to boost the 'outside looking in' and 'marching to the beat of my own drum' qualities already inherent in Uranus. I don't feel that one much.Great attractor opposite Sun is a different matter though. I read this about GA, written by Philip Sedgwick:"People born with the Sun, Moon, ascendant or another important planet close to, or aspecting, this point will often find that they have a polarizing effect on people around them, making unusually close friends and intense enemies as well. They can give the impression that they hold the key to the mystery of the universe, correctly or not. The perception is that people on the Great Attractor have unusual appeal or potency. They find themselves in vast circles, accidentally. Or they have impacted masses of people and think they have created no influence in their lives whatsoever."I also read somewhere that the South Node of Uranus is currently (has been and will be for quite some time, since most of the planetary nodes move really slowly) on the GA. So that gives a Uranian flavor to GA, as well as to my Sun, whih makes a lot of sense. I don't think I have many intense enemies, nor do I have many close friends... but I do think people have strong opinions bout me. I live my life not really caring what people think, and as a consequence I suppose I give people reason to think and talk behind my back. Throughout my life I've also felt like people and opportunities come to me, rather than me seeking them out. Things happen as if fated, and I don't really feel like I have a say in the matter... though perhaps I do and don't realize it.
