T O P I C R E V I E WnomorebrunchHi everyone! I was looking up asteroids and the one that stood out the most was Circe (asteroid 34). Circe and my moon are both at 29° Scorpio, both conjunct Pluto as well.I’ve been getting into herbs recently (probably spending too much money on them haha) and find a lot of value in herbalism.. this was before I found out about Circe. I was wondering if anyone could help me ground this conjunction and use it/be aware of it in my life? I’m curious to know more about Circe and there’s not much online but I feel a strong connection with this asteroid in particular. I just get nervous because some people don’t use asteroids, especially minor ones, so I don’t want to be making stuff up. Thank you!! (If it helps they both sextile my 0° Uranus and trine my Aries Saturn)------------------trevor :)RandallWelcome!Ami AnneCircce makes a bewitching woman but conj the Moon, it may be more hidden and not as overt. If herbalism is the interpretation that works for you, I say go with it... maybe the “grounding” part could come from research, and/or growing or foraging for wild plants? I do a fair amount of intuitive jumping to conclusions, then backtracking to find the logic to support it, when it comes to stuff like that. Try it and see, but also ask yourself why you felt like trying that particular thing, if that makes sense?nomorebrunchHi! I just found out I also have Ixiom, Fortuna, and Tyche at 29° of Scorpio as well. Does this help with the interpretation at all?? Thank you so so much------------------trevor :)nomorebrunchHi! I would suggest using the search engine to see what other people have to say about each of them, but don’t make it too complicated for yourself— not every single one is going to have personal significance. I’ve been learning about sustainable agriculture for a lot longer than astrology; in biodynamic farming the lunar cycles are very important for timing the planting, harvest, pruning, soil treatments, etc. Same with making salves and tinctures and stuff like that. And moon rules your emotion/ gut instinct, so that’s all I’m saying... pay attention to what your own instinct is telling you, but then, like you said, look for ways to be grounded about it. (My 34 Circe trines my Sun... never thought to look before, so thanks for that... you learn something new every day! Also, probably helps get responses if you include the numbers of the asteroids you’re talking about.)Ami AnneIxion is lawless. People who have it prominently seem to test the law. [/B][/QUOTE]Off the top of my head, I’d say that once you have a good understanding of the rules governing a particular field of study, you might be capable of making some great intuitive discoveries. Personal example: if I’m going out foraging for mushrooms or something, I’ll absolutely use my intuition to decide where to go. But I’m not going to trust my own intuition far enough to just taste something that looks interesting; I’ll take notes and pictures and spore prints to compare against guidebooks. That’s just an example, of course... the principle could apply to any topic.walkingcontradictionSorry to hijack your thread! But are there thoughts about what Eros conjunct Circe in a natal chart means? Is it about the effect they have on others or is it about what one is attracted to themselves? I have this natally and I suppose it would explain why those who end up being into me seem so much more enthralled with me than I judge they should be given our level of interaction. Obviously not Saying everyone is obsessed with me lol. I might have to take a look at some more of my old synastry charts to see if those have any Circe or Eros connections for those who caught feelings I judge “too quick “ hmmAmi AnneYea, these things play out as they say they will lol------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology?
