T O P I C R E V I E WgeminiHi,I have a problem and I was wondering if there was anyone here who could offer some advice. For about 2 weeks now I've been chanting (really loud, I'm told) in my sleep. I wake up disoriented and exhausted to complaints from my neighbors and my landlord who thought the whole thing was very funny at first, but are now a bit scared, I think. I'm at the point where I'm afraid to go to sleep. Has this happened to anyone else, is it normal, and what can I do to stop it? I don't actually remember the chanting when I wake up. RandallWelcome to Lindaland! ------------------"Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca ClarkSpirituaHi, Gemini! Welcome to Lindaland! Unfortunately, I don't know the answer to your question, but I'm sure somebody here does. stella polarisDo you remember anything from the night, what you have been dreaming? I've never heard about anything like this, but I'd say that anything we do when we are asleep is a message or a comment to our life. I think you should tell yourself before you go to bed that you want to and have to remember your dreams. When you manage to remember the dreams, it's easier to find out why you are chanting.WychOfAvalon*agrees with Stella* stella knows what she's talking about Write down any dreams you're having, even just fragments or pieces of the dreams. They might hold clues.Also... you could try perhaps tape recording yourself so you can hear it when you wake up?------------------I like to watch you in your sleep ..I’d give a million if I knew your name ..And all I need is to be with you ..In a state of dreams ..That’s where I wanted to be ..With you in a state of dreams
