T O P I C R E V I E WsassygrrrlI had this very odd dream the other night. In the dream, I was looking in the mirror and I pulled out my own eyeball. No damage was apparently done, as I put the eyeball back in and I could see perfectly. Then I did it again, only this time I had stepped away from the mirror as I pulled it out and couldn't remember which eye socket it belonged in as there was apparently another eyeball behind that one. (I guess it was a 'spare' eyeball, like wisdom teeth??) Anyway, I put the eyeball back in the eye that I assumed it belonged in and once again no harm was done & my eyesight was perfect. Then in the same dream later on, I dreamed that there was a small dark piece of metal lodged behind my eye. I was trying to dig it out with my finger when I woke up. ...So I wonder what's up with the strange eye theme in this dream?? scorpbaby Have you been doing a lot of self examining lately? (You were in front of the mirror while you pulled out your own eye, and unable to see yourself. But then your sight was restored)Have you failed to see something clearly and then finally came to a resolution? Is there something you didn't want to "see" but had to? Or maybe you've needed a change of perspective, and you're now providing that for yourself with "fresh eyes". The metal behind your eyes might be a sign that there is still some resistance in seeing things clearly. But it seems that you are fighting against that and "digging" to the bottom. Hope that's helped sassygrrrlThanks scorpbaby Yes that helped a lot. ...And yes, I have been trying very VERY hard to see the situation clearly - and how to proceed - regarding my estranged relationship with the guy I love. I am always analyzing the situation in my mind, so maybe it's finally seeping into my dreams. Ra
