T O P I C R E V I E Wgood girlFor the past 2 months or so I have been dreaming every night about babies. I dream about 3-5 dreams a night, and most of them have a baby in it.It is someone elses baby and it reaches out to me,needing me. Or I'm taking care of a baby, as far as I can remember it isn't ever my baby. Different babies, always with me.Babies, babies, babies!! I'm so desperate to hear that I'm not about to get pregnant!! (astrologically the ruler of my 5th house is in my 1st and trine the sun in the 5th)I'm hoping there could be another meaning, but at this point I'm too close to the issue/dreams to see what, unless it's the birth of creativity????Or if you have any suggestions on how to stop a dream from occuring....Perieither you want to get pregnant and have a baby or your own inner child is calling out for you ... do you feel a bit out of touch with your self? have you been neglecting your intuition lately?how to stop a dream from occuring? allow your inner child to come out and play FlukeHow do you feel about taking care of those babies? Or how do you feel when you see someone else's baby reaching out to you?And what are your ideas of babies in general? Do you see them as a pleasure, a joy or do you think of them as a great responsibility?Take a look at what you associate with babies and how you feel when you're dealing with them in the dream, this is probably not about babies at all.. Edit: Actually, to go a bit further and actually attempt a full-out interpretation I think you feel like you are burdened with other people's responsibility and going by your comment that you desperately want to hear that you are not about to get pregnant you are not very happy about it, you do not want this responsibility.MyVirgoMaskGood Girl, is there a project you've had going on ? New thoughts, or something?Babies can also mean new ideas, concepts, and a form of rebirth. If you don't feel it's your 'own' baby, then maybe your dream is trying to spur some kind of recognition on your part? To acknowledge something that you don't feel is 'yours'? You're nurturing it, whatever it is, by the sounds of it, but maybe don't feel an intimate connection *yet* to this new idea or concept. I don't know, does that make sense? good girlWow! This was fun and helpful. Peri:That strikes a cord. Yes, I certainly have an inner child, and I have actually given it conscious thought lately as to how to feel the youthfulness/playfulness I had when I was a child. Isn't it funny it never made the connection...thank you.Fluke:I feel very protective and as if there is some special mission of mine to take care and love the child. Only upon waking do I think "oh no, the responsibilty...I don't want that". Thank you for your help, and saying it's not about me getting pregnant. Needed to hear that!!MVM: You know, here's the kicker. It has actually been a project of mine the past month or so, to dig into who I really am. To define how I see myself and what I want to be.I have a list on paper of these things and I think of it as " creating myself". I don't know why now, that I didn't connect these dreams to that project.Thank you.Ra ChryseisHi good girl and others,I would have to agree with Fluke. To me, these dreams are to do with a disposition within yourself to attend to things and keep your 'finger on the pulse'.It is like taking on personal responsibility to see to some kind of satisfying of a wide range of needs to do with others. As a result, an extension of this idea would be that as one baby spits the dummy and you put it back in, the next baby needs to be picked up, then another baby needs to be supervised in walking, etc, etc. And it is a burden to you, going by your feelings that they are kinda driving you a bit nuts and you definitely don't want to be pregnant. However, it is satisfying some need within yourself as well tho. This need seems to be that you feel you can reduce your anxiety about life choices, development, and whether or not you are heading in the right direction or just have a workable philosophy, by attending to anything that appears to require prompting, direction, supervision, and encouragement, in others. Chryseis...I have had similar dreams at times.A fair while ago I would dream about kittens that kept popping up through a hole in the side of a room. As I would put them in a basket, another kitten would pop up or the last kitten would be out of the basket.More recently, I had a dream that I was making a huge pot of chicken soup. As I was trying to stir it and thicken it, others were frantically playing around me and I found it hard to get back to the pot or my stirring stick wouldn't reach. Someone even tossed in a big old pair of bloomers! I didn't even WANT to make the soup! VinayM19Well even i agree with Chryseis and Fluke.Usually dreams what we have don't have to mean exactly how they look, there is always different insight into it which gives true meaning, and it's your innerself where you can get answer .------------------ahaaaaaa
