T O P I C R E V I E WIsisHi all, I was wondering if anyone can give me feedback on:Venus Scorp Retro Opp Taurus Saturn Retro and Jupiter Scorp Opp Taurus Saturn Retro Also, if Cap is on the cusp of the 7th, Saturn rules Cap, Saturn is Opp Venus, and BOTH are retro, what's your take on that? Thanks! *edit* With looser orbs, there's also Taurus Saturn Retro OPP Scorp Neptune, but that one is at 9 degrees, would this just be felt less, or not at all?------------------“The good things which belong to prosperity are to be wished, but the good things that belong to adversity are to be admired.” SenecaOxychickWow Isis, I know someone with the same aspects! I can't really help you, but I'm sure others here can. IsisAnyone, anyone...? Tink: I read in another thread that you have similar oppositions, what's your take on their effects?------------------“The good things which belong to prosperity are to be wished, but the good things that belong to adversity are to be admired.” SenecaIsisOk, am I allowed to be relentless and keep bumping this? ------------------“The good things which belong to prosperity are to be wished, but the good things that belong to adversity are to be admired.” Senecaastro junkieI don't have any Retrogrades in my chart, so I can't say. But as for oppositions to Saturn, I have one of the most difficult ones, I think. Saturn in Capricorn Opp Moon in Cancer. This is made even more intense as part of a T-Square.TINK Hi Isis. Yeah, I've got that. Don't think I'm retrograde though. It's ... stifling. But it keeps my evil tendencies in check. The bad and the good skip into my life hand in hand. Always to a nerve wracking extreme. Really all I can say is if it's you - my deepest sympathies, if it's someone else - stay away. Far, far away. astro junkieSo where do YOU hide your fangs when you go to bed?proxieme*pokes aj in the eye**mumbles*No rasafrakin' retros... astro junkiehee heeI have such a difficult chart though Prox. An extremely difficult chart. If you were to try to look at the bright side of it, all you'd be able to say is thank God for my Mars in Scorpio, and thank God I have no retros, and that's about it!!IsisThanks! ------------------“The good things which belong to prosperity are to be wished, but the good things that belong to adversity are to be admired.” SenecaTINKWhat just a minute there Isis. What do YOU think of the aspects. C'mon fess up. I'm a scorpio too and I know it's hard but try.tinkIsisI really don't know to be honest. I'm not nearly as familiar w/ the outer planets as I am w/ the inner ones; add to that retros, and I'm completely lost. My general take isn't as foreboding as yours, but it's obvious to me, because of Saturn's location in this chart (it's a bucket, with ALL the planets in houses 3/4/5, and the lone Saturn opposite in the 11th), that this is the focal point of the chart, but since my knowledge of the outers is poor, I thought I'd ask some of our resident experts what it means.Once I get a better understanding of retro Saturn and interpreting bucket charts, I think I'd have an easier time of interpreting the aspects. ------------------“The good things which belong to prosperity are to be wished, but the good things that belong to adversity are to be admired.” SenecaTINKI know what you mean. I think I have the bowl thing here too. Everything is in 1,2,3,4. Most of them in 3. or 2? Not sure. sun, merc, venus, jupiter, neptune. Then saturn in 9. or 8? Still not sure. It's the rising sign that's my problem. But that's a bowl right? *sigh* astrology. Love it but don't understand it.tinkIsisI think a bowl is when all the planets are spread out on one half of the chart - the bucket or 'funnel' as I've heard it called is when all but one planet (or two?) is in one half of the chart, with that lone planet opposite making several oppositions. Perhaps a resident astrology expert could clarify? Anyone, anyone? ------------------“The good things which belong to prosperity are to be wished, but the good things that belong to adversity are to be admired.” Senecaastro junkieHere's a couple::: www.aquamoonlight.com www.bobmarksastrologer.com/Bowl.htm
