T O P I C R E V I E Wvirgotaurustaurusso i'm still fairly new to astrology...and i was looking at the shape of my chart tonight. I always thought it was a bucket shape and then while looking up chart shapes tonight, i ran across the sling shape. So, I'm a bit confused about the difference and what my chart shape really is...the examples show the bucket as having planets in 7 signs opposing the singleton, and the sling having planets in 4 signs opposing...my chart has all the planets opposing the singleton in only 4 signs, would i be safe to say my chart is a sling?EleanoreThat's a good question, I'm quite curious about that myself. Anyone around here know? I'm sure one of you must. ------------------"You must be the change you wish to see in the world." - GhandivirgotaurustaurusI think I actually figured out afterwards . In the bucket shape, the planets opposing the singleton seem to be rather spread out, but in the sling shape, they create a bundle, or take up only 1/3rd of your chart. I ran across something last night that said that all of the planets on the other side, in order to create a bundle in a sling shape, they have to be within 120 degrees of each other.
