T O P I C R E V I E WsthenriHello there, being very emotional myself with a Cancer Moon and Aries Venus, I came to the conclusion after a frustrating date last night that I need an emotional man in my life, but one who is stable. What are the signs/aspects that would make a man in touch with emotions?I know this person, who I like very much but I realized that he could sit all night and watch a movie without even saying a word to me. He's just not that emotional, or the hugging type.I tend to be much more emotional, with people, and talk a lot, but with emotion.I automatically think of Aries and Cancer men, but Cancer men tend to get so moody they leave, and never tell me why. So I was betting on Aries, what are the opinions on Aries men?Does anyone have an emotional mate?NatashaTaurusAphroditeWithout a doubt, the healthy indicators are:Moon sextile/trine MercuryMoon sextile/trine VenusThe inner planets are pretty good ways to tell how a person relates to another on a day to day basis.Good Luck sthenriThis person last night had hard aspects to the inner planets, so I think you are right.Natasha26taurusDefinitely Moon in Taurus men. The moon being exhalted there. Strong and stable, very affectionate and lovable. I may just feel this because my Sun is there. quote:Easy-going, even-tempered and good-natured, you are a pleasant companion and a devoted friend. It takes a lot to make you mad; you're a lover, not a fighter. You don't waste a lot of emotional energy worrying over trifles or engaging in life's intruiges and melodramas. Your needs and desires are simple, down-to-earth and of a practical, physical nature. Sensual and strongly sexual, you have a direct and unabashed enjoyment of sex, and an innate understanding of what makes people feel good. You are nurtured by all kinds of physical contact, and are especially fond of hugs and back rubs. With friends and lovers you can be quite demonstrative, and even like to touch casual acquaintances and total strangers when you talk to them. No lover of yours will ever feel starved for affection, though he / she might feel smothered at times by your possessiveness. You need stability, predictability and a sense of permanence in your life. You don't make changes easily, aren't interested in anything new or 'different', and are anything but spontaneous. Once you settle in - to a job, a home or a relationship - you want to stay put, forever. Consequently, you are a loyal and steadfast partner. However, you are also terribly stubborn. Like a large, slow-moving oil tanker, once you've set your course it's almost impossible to turn you around (mentally, physically or emotionally).Women usually respond to this energy easily and openly. Men sometimes project it onto the women in their lives, and may be attracted to women who are affectionate, domestic, earthy, strongly sexual and sensual. sthenriMy ex boyfriend was a Gemini/Taurus Moon,Mars and Mercury but he was not very emotional. Of course these were opposite his Neptune but he said himself, that he had no feelings, except for sadness once in a while, he mainly watched games, or played pool with me.He never talked to me, or hugged me, without me making the first move. But I agree there may be a Taurus moon out there, my sister is a Taurus moon and very affectionate and friendly.Natashalibra78I can agree with the taurus moon comment above from what I see around me. I am a venus/mars scorpio and so is another libra guy friend of mine. I think we are emotional, but like to maintain control, and can be a tad secretive. Stability. I think. is based on how 'evolved' you are as a person.Frazastro junkieEmotional guys with a good stable balance too is difficult to find. Sometimes they go overboard and get too jealous, which I cannot stand. But one guy who had a good balance had a Taurus Moon and Venus in Pisces. Then had a good mixture of Air & Earth influences. purple_scorpA friend of mine also has a Taurus Moon and Venus in Pisces and will take about really deep subjects. He is very fussy though, when it comes to relationships with women and he still has a bit of ego.I have a few Aries men friends and I find that they are usually very straight forward, and will discuss lots of deep things. One of them is like a spiritual mentor to me. They would also make the first move, romantically.purple_scorpPhilbirdLibra hubby! astro junkie gertYes yes I agree.A venus trine moon is a good indication of emotional asects from a man,I have this placing myself.A cancer full moon and a scorpio venus tends to make me extremely emotional which I sometimes hate.zosoMY bf has a Pisces moon and he is very sensitive, but almost in a psychic way. He can pick up emotions like a radar and often he can do this when the person isn't present. With me--typical Sag-- I can't hide my feelings too well (or secrets for that matter) so he can always figure me out in person. But, whenever we're apart, he can do it too. We suffer from that syndrom of picking up the phone to call each other and having the other person on the line instead of a dial tone. lovely*in my experience, asc opp moon is rather emotional.miss_applesMy daughters father is a pisces and he was a big whiney cry baby! I dont know what the rest of his chart was.Virgo-AriesArtistWoah, this is creepy as heck, I mean, I looked into this for the men currently and past in my life and it rings exactly true...!Ok here's the evidence:Sensitive/Emotionally In-tune:Kenan (Cancer Moon TR Scorpio Venus)Mike (Capricorn Moon TR Taurus Mercury & Venus)Tony/Gemini Guy (Aries Moon SXT Gemini Venus)Brent (Gemini Moon TR Libra Mercury)Dysfunational/Unhealthy/Out-of-touch:Brian/"R" (Pisces Moon SQ Gemini Venus)Jason (NO aspects)Dad/Ralph (Capricorn Moon OPP late Gemini Venus)Tom (NO aspects)-------------------K"Most people love with restraintAs if they were someday to hateWe hated gently, carefullyAs if we were someday to love"-Venus Trines at MidnightsthenriThank you so much all of you.I have also noticed that Jupiter square Moon causes a person to be more in touch with other people's emotions, in a good way.And the men I have dated have Jupiter conjunct the Moon, so possibly they were wrapped up in their own reality.I don't like cry babies, but I think some empathy is nice, especially in a man if it's real, and doesn't revolve around food or sex.NatashaVirgo-AriesArtistOoo...Natasha...you're really intriging me with all these "men + good sensitivity" aspects. I'm scanning all the men in my life's charts, and guess what? My coworker/new potential friend who is the previously mentioned Libra with Gemini moon, has Moon trine Mercury AND Moon square Jupiter...hmmm nice, NICE combination -------------------K"Most people love with restraintAs if they were someday to hateWe hated gently, carefullyAs if we were someday to love"-Venus Trines at Midnightlovely*natasha (if I may call you by your first name..)I have jupiter opposing my moon and i have a pretty good sense of people emotionally. i wonder if the same holds true on the opp??SwerveHey now!I have Venus and Mercury squaring my Moon (Aquarius vs. Scorpio).Mind you, now I think about it.........no, you're probably right..... SwervesassygrrrlAries men are gentlemanly and surprisingly romantic, even though this isn't their reputation. But they are very emotional and can get their feelings hurt very easily. And they all want to be babied. Well this is my experience regarding every Aries man I know, anyway. And trust me I know quite a few. pixelpixieI agree, sassygirl... I am sometimes surprised.. for all my perceptivness with others, I sometimes forget that my Aries can be sensitive. As well as an ex-Aries. It would surprise me.. because it wasn't all the time, in every situation.. but when the sensitivity came, it really sprung. Very deeply loving, those fellas. Very romantic.astro junkielovely -"Oppositions: Two planets 180 degrees from one another (Directly opposite each other. Oppositions work through other people and their lessons and focus will be found in how you react and respond to those around you."AND"Your Moon is aspecting your Venuswith the key phrase: Empathy. You have an affectionate nature - you have both the capacity to give succour and love, and a deep need to receive it. Obviously therefore, relationships are extremely important to you, and you tend to form lasting bonds at an early age. Actually the greatest bond will be to your own family, particularly the mother - for better or for worse. Men with this aspect tend to marry early and unconsciously compare their loved one with the mother. There is a tendency to slink back to the family home for a good meal from time to time, and the wife can have great difficulty asserting her own authority over the mother's. In more extreme cases the man evokes maternal behaviour in his partner, and finds her wanting sexually as a mistress. It is difficult to feel sexually attracted to a mother figure, so unfaithfulness can ensue, as the man seeks to fulfil his sexual needs elsewhere. Women with this aspect have to learn to integrate the two feminine functions - maternal and erotic - into their lives in some way. If she has difficulty with this she will find the sexual element in the relationship deteriorating, and will end up spending all her time on the house or with the children. A maid might be the answer! For both sexes there is a tendency to be overmatched and clinging, and too fixated on material security. Unconscious and unresolved childhood needs for love and security spill over into later relationships. It pays to develop a more detached attitude and a greater indifference to the need for constant approval."ariestigerI think an Aries man is a good bet. They are fairly healthily emotional, not one way or the other too much - not on the surface anyway. But they are generally quite kind-hearted underneath, and don't play mind games.
