viper | Hi all, does anybody have any thoughts on a suitable degree of orb for synastry contacts? For example in a natal chart a conjunction is considered to be made if two planets are within approximately 8 degrees of orb. I know some people use up to a ten degree orb, but personaly, I prefer the 8 degrree angle. However I've read somewhere that when it comes to synastry aspects, the degree of orb should be reduced? Example, for a conjunction the planets should be , say, 4 or 6 degrees apart? Has anybody got any ideas on this? Thanks |

raaz999 | My guess is 3 degrees for conjunction in synastry. But let some wiser knowflake confirm it. |
lllog | Thats right synasty charts use a +/- 1 degree or 3 degree arc. Lanny |
