T O P I C R E V I E WvirgotaurustaurusNoticed this with mine...I definitely have a bucket, what with the Moon in my 1st house opposing Mars and planets sitting around over there as well. I read that this leads one into a very certain direction in life, well, I've not found mine. But then again, I guess I expect that path to be vocational and maybe it isn't. My Moon happens to be in my 1st house, which lately makes me wonder if my "certain path" is constant "Self" work. But when I look at how I am, how my life is...I'm all over the place. I sound more like I have a splay chart at times, interests all over the place, mass confusion, a mess, severe lack of any direction. Is the shape of the chart something to be learned rather than something acquired? Or could my Yod be messing things up, my Moon, my bucket's handle, the direct path I should have, is the apex. Just thoughts I've pondered! pixelpixiegood thoughts!Lemingtynehi vtt,I also have a "bucket" chart, with my Moon in the 4th house and all the other planets in houses 8-12. Also, I have a Yod pointing at my Moon, and I don't know what the direction or purpose of my life is yet. I have no idea. I don't even have a job right now and I'm having a hard time "moving on" after finishing college. But it seems that my stubborn (Moon in Taurus) feelings about home and family are going to cause problems or at least play a major role. Here I am back at home living with my family - don't really want to be here, but don't feel that I can leave yet either. Just some thoughts. ------------------Libra Sun, Taurus Moon, Capricorn RisingpixelpixieMy chart~ I's a buckethead too! (I added more placements.. asteroids, etc....)AzalakshHi VTT, Pix ~Fellow bucketeer here! My Moon in VIII is the handle of the bucket.....Lemingtyne ~My Moon is the apex of a Moon-Jupiter-Neptune Yod! It's also the bottom corner of a kite. I have not fully explored yet what meaning these configurations have in my chart/life. I also find it interesting that all my planets except the Moon are in the eastern hemisphere of my chart. I think these three placement-groupings are what gives my Pisces Moon (and the Water element) much more strength in my overall makeup of Cardinal-Air.....scorpbabyI have a bucket too! The handle is the Moon (Taurus) in the 7th house. I would guess that means my goals are towards having partnerships but I really don't know. pixelpixieMy handle is Jupiter, retrograde....(tenth house)My bucket fullness is all my personal planets, in my personal hemisphere...ScotScorpIf Chiron is not counted, I have a bucket with Pisces Jupiter in the 7th bein' the handle. All other planets are houses 11-4.Angela------------------Scorpio/Leo/Leo"All things are bound together. All things connect." Chief SeattlezosoLemingtyne--Mine is a bucket as well with my moon in the 4th house in taurus! All my other planets are in houses 9-12, with the majority in the 10th and 12th houses, one planet each in 9th and 11th. This seems to indicate a vocational life, yet my Venus and Saturn in conjunct in 10th house Scorpio is opposite my single moon in Taurus. I don't know what that means, but I'm completely non-directional (except of course in occult studies which isn't getting me anywhere in society)26taurusHoly buckets batman! My planets are pretty evenly spaced out......kind of like myself.*wanders out of thread*AcousticGodI've got a sideways diamond. I have no idea what that means.virgotaurustaurusWhoa Lemingtyne! Yours is similar to mine just different houses. We both have yods pointing to our moons, both have moon in taurus, both bucket charts! I'm back home living with my family too...omg, never again I say! YUCK pixie, buckethead! whoa scorpbaby and zoso, more taurus moons! lol 26T get back here! virgotaurustaurusAzalaksh, I looked in my notes for major configuration info Yod: Yod in Hebrew means “blessed” and is said to have a kind of fate about it. Indicates a strange or unusual destiny. Has stop-and-go energy that creates false starts, backslides, frustrations. Demands continual adjustment and impairs your decision-making abilities, especially in the areas affected by the planet of the apex. Kite: The person with this may be a ‘high flyer’. Useful combination of tense and harmonious aspects in which the two planets connected by trines and sextiles provide outlets for the tension of the opposition. just a little bit of info there!IsisI've got a bucket too - everything is in 3/4/5, with Saturn retro all lonely across the chart in 11. Pixie, I'm pretty sure we share the same birthday, or near to it (not sure about the year tho), and your chart looks almost identical to mine, with a few variations. I'd love to chat to you about some of our mutual house placements sometime. Randall has my email, pls drop me a line (I'm also in a band, although I play drums...)Lemingtynekinda freaky that there are so many of us posting here with Moon in Taurus bucket handles and/or Moon Yod apexes! The rest of my Yod is Neptune on the left and Pluto-Sun-Jupiter on the right arm.a little more on Yods- a Yod is a quincunx-sextile-quincunx triangle. If you draw a line from each of the planets in the Yod to the center of the chart, you form the letter Y (Yod in the Hebrew alphabet). It's sometimes called the Finger of God, but it's really not that terrible or uncommon. You've been coming up with some really GREAT references!!!And thanks also to VTT!'zalaLei_KueiI have a bucket too with its handle in the 12th house where Pluto & Saturn are sitting conjunct... cant say I really understand what that means for me, Im trying to find out though ------------------Dream of a Better Tomorrow and Make it so... :rainbow:26taurus*wanders back into thread*....mmmmmmYeessss, VTT?
