T O P I C R E V I E WTuesdayI was wondering if anyone has experienced this aspect in synastry and how did you deal with it. It feels very frustrating sometimes, and limiting. I'm the mars person and sometimes I feel like a child who just wants to play and be spontaneous but I'm being told by saturn, who almost feels like a parent, that he's too tired or busy or it just isnt practical and I'll have to wait. It's been teaching me patience and empathy (which I need with my Aries venus) but sometimes I wonder how much I can take. However I am committed and growth-oriented, since i feel the positives outweigh the negatives, but in the meantime does anyone have any advice on how to handle this aspect? wilsontcTuesday,I presume you are NOT a child. If that is the case...listen to the "structuring" advice of the Saturn person. And, if the advice makes sense, follow it. But if you feel that you simply MUST take some action (Mars), then take the action! Relationships are all about compromise. If the Saturn person threatens to take away all your toys if you try that again...you and Saturn need to have a LONG talk about where this relationship is going!Relating,Tim------------------For information on basic astrological chart interpretation see:http://www.geocities.com/wilsontctcsanfranciscojim1i was just reading Alan Leo's ESOTERIC ASTROLOGY. I guess it was written around 1900 sometime. he mentions that the Mars-Saturn aspect of life is one of the most important ones....something like that.bullheadBTWjust wondering how if saturn TRINE mars?good or bad???in synastrythxDualityMy sister and her ex husband had Mars (hers) conjunct Saturn (his). It was a disaster.JoolsWha?!!? My mars is conjunct my dream lover's Saturn (in Aquarius)!!!Please tell what was the problem between your sis and ex-husband.ArnickaAbout Saturn trine Mars: supposed to be very helpful in giving the relationship more staying power as in both are able to work well together to work out the odds and ends. Thennnn in the Liz Greene Saturn A new Look at an Old Devil book: Saturns supposed to be super attracted to Mars, but it sometimes ends in a fizzle with saturn leaving, BUT I think she mightve been talking more about the negative aspect. Anyway I have Saturn trine Mars with my special person and Im damn attracted to him [we have no mars venus aspects] Its like saturn takes on those super horny goat characteristics and acts em out with mars. Makes sense?JoolsExcellent. I have heard of that horny goat-weed stuff. HexxieLOL my Saturn is closly conjunct my boyfriend's Mars in Leo. Made me chuckle a bit cuz I was just talking to a friend about it today. The Saturn person is s'pose to sort of hold back, hmmmm maybe I should say regulate, the Mars person's actions. For example, in my boyfriend's & my charts, his Mars is in my 2nd house so it means he wants/likes to buy me things. My Saturn is in his 12th so although I don't try and stop him from doing anything, he internally feels that he should not do certain things. Hope that makes sense cuz I sure am tired!! ------------------~Libra Sun / 29* Gemini Rising / Aquarius Moon~bullheadarnicka, tks for explaining dat mars trine saturn aspect. its amazing stayin power allrite, consider the past year, its nothing but stormy......every week, its crazy, i think if we both use our head a little bit, we already should/did move on...sigh.... anyhow, his saturn always want to attack my mars, LOL, its not i dont like it but sometimes im so overwhelme, i want to hide or just escape from him, i think i crave more TLC DualityJools, in their case it played itself out to the max and in the most negative way. She is much more educated than him as is our family more educated than his. I think he always felt inferior and he never gave her any support in anything, always discouraging her. He always blamed her for anything that went wrong in their and his life. Never gave her credit for anything good (and there was a lot of that on her part). There was a lot of emotional abuse in that marriage and when she finally came out of it she didn't have a shred of self esteem. He put her down a lot.I really think Conj/squares/opp between Mars and Sat are the worst aspects in synastry BUT it also depends on the rest of the synastry and very much on each person alone.
