T O P I C R E V I E Wpoetsdream7I'm a bit confused about what the mutual reception aspect means and how important it is in a chart. For example, I have Pluto in Virgo/Merc in Scorp. I also have Mars conj Merc, so I don't think I NEED a mutual reception in this area. Merc is also my ruling planet. Does this also mean that Pluto works w/ Merc in its leadership? Or is the mutual reception aspect just not that prevalent in the overall chart?I would appreciate any input, not necessarily about my chart personally (I was just using an example), but on anything you might know about this aspect.Peace------------------Always Seeking...poetsdream7AzalakshHere's a nice link, pd7..... http://www.skyscript.co.uk/dig6.html Saturn in Cancer and Moon in Capricorn is an example of dignities in mutual reception.Planets can also be "accidently dignified". Using my own chart as an example, I have Mars in Virgo in the 1st house, Venus in Libra in the 2nd house (both dignified and accidently dignified! ie, sign it rules and house it rules), Mercury in Scorpio in the 3rd house, and Uranus in Cancer in the 11th house.....Have you checked out beebuddy's "Cool Links with Descriptions" topic?? There are tons of links to everything you could imagine in there..... 'Zalanove731I have my Moon and Jupiter in Mutual Reception.I have my Moon at 6 degrees Sagittarius, and I have my Jupiter at 5 degrees Cancer. They're inconjunct, too...Blahhhhh. Hahapoetsdream7Thanks for the links 'Zala!I will definitely check them out! I know the mutual reception has some bearing on the chart, just not sure how important it really is.Peace...Jules ------------------Always Seeking...poetsdream7poetsdream7Hi, Nove,I like that placement of Moon & Jup.
