T O P I C R E V I E WLiondePoissonsHiI'm a newbie here and have finally plucked up the courage to ask a few questions I have on astrology.Does any one know what effect a stationary planet would have on an individual?I have neptune in scorpio in the 11th stationary and can find no info on this...does it make any difference at all.lalalindaWelcome LiondePoissons Stationary direct or stationary Rx ?A stationary period is when a planet is getting ready to slow down (RX)or when its getting out of a Rx period and getting ready to resume its natural speedLiondePoissonsOk. I'm not sure how to work this out but astro shows the belowNeptune Scorpio 28°42'33 11 stationary (R) ??thankslalalindaStationary retrograde is the day before the planet is RX--------------------------------------------------------------------------------What is a Retrograde Planet? It is a planet that appears to be going backwards, in actuality it isn't. But it has slowed down. You can understand this by imagining being on a train and slowing down (but still going forward) and a train beside you going at regular speed. If you look out the window it LOOKS like you're going in reverse, but you're not.The Sun and Moon are NEVER Retrogradeastro junkieWelcome LiondePoissonsJust consider all's well if they are Stationary or Direct. You won't have as many issues as when the Natal Planet is Retrograde - basically...I'm thinking there is a very subtle difference between S and D, in terms of how the person see's it too ...Anyone out there have firsthand experiences?------------------ ... it's better to light a candle than curse the darkness
