T O P I C R E V I E WKamillaI was just wondering what's everyone's opinion on Progressed Composite Chart. For instance, if composite chart is nice but progressed is nothing but T-squares, how would you read it and which one is more significant?Taurus80Kamilla..i'm just a novice, but i would imagine the composite would still be more important, because the progressed is just for a period of time. The composite would always be the third entity..just my guessinterested to hear others opinions astroleoladyKamilla,In the past, I was told that you may look at a relationship using the following formula to determine significance.1/3 synastry1/3 composite 1/3 progressed composite And if you are so inclinded, you can also take a look at progressed to progressed synastry and progressed to natal synastry (both ways). The progressed charts along with transits help determine the timing and the direction that the relationship will take.KamillaThank you, ladies The 1/3 theory definitely makes sense but I am having hard time with progressions. It just seem to me that while natal chart is like a blue print on a clean slate, as we go on with our lives there is unevitable interference of free will. It's kind of like you know where you are coming from but then it's up to you where you are going and which path you choose. Progressions look a bit rigid and restrictive from this point of view. Of course, I might be wrong.

In the past, I was told that you may look at a relationship using the following formula to determine significance.
1/3 synastry1/3 composite 1/3 progressed composite
And if you are so inclinded, you can also take a look at progressed to progressed synastry and progressed to natal synastry (both ways).
The progressed charts along with transits help determine the timing and the direction that the relationship will take.
