T O P I C R E V I E WEpicDesignHi to all of you! I'm a 28 year old Cancerian, and quite new within the realm of astrology. This board seems to have quite a collection of nice people. I figured I would join up to feed my new curiosity regarding astrology, and perhaps learn a thing or two in the process. From my reading here over the past few days, I've noticed many of the people who frequent the site tend to rely greatly on individuals charts, so as an "introduction" to you all, I will present my own that I worked up from another site while researching the subject. Perhaps you all can also give me some insight that I perhaps may not have found from the other places, since websites tend to dish out the same rhetoric over and over. You all are of course, real people, and not some script written by some site designer. This is what was given to me (minus the degrees) from astro-software.comSun: CancerMoon: TaurusMercury: LeoVenus: CancerMars: GeminiJupiter: LeoSaturn: VirgoUranus: ScorpioNeptune: SagittariusPluto: LibraLilith: VirgoAsc. I was quite shocked when I first came here, and of course looked for threads relating to Cancers, to find out how so many of you view cancers. Not in a bad way, but in a good way! I was quite unaware people had such strong opinions of those of us who fall under that sign. Quite intriguing, I must admit!Anyway, it's a pleasure to be here, and I hope to become friends with you all. writesomethingyoure born the same year as him, and month.EpicDesignwritesomething: I'm thinking somehow what I wrote mislead you into thinking that the chart I posted was someone else's. It is in fact my chart, and not another's. Interesting though that you made the conclusion that the "other person" and I had the same birth year...hehe. Impressive! yourfriendinspiritWelcome EpicDesign Nice to meet you...Hmm?Right away I noticed that you have some houses swallowed up, heee...hee...[No Taurus/Scorpio Ruled Houses]This is called: InterceptionWhat it means for you specifically, is that your moon and uranus being in these particular signs are more difficult to express outwardly. When a transit occurs with these planets is your secret time to use them wisely and efficiently.Your moon represents some very important things for you [emotions, feelings, etc.] The Moon in Taurus gives you a quiet, persistent, determined, conservative and methodical temperament. It suggests that you require security, a stable home life and material possessions in order to achieve emotional happiness. Music, art and literature will have a soothing and calming effect upon your nature. You may look to the rulers of Taurus and Scorpio for expression as well...I look forward to seeing more posts from you. I hope you enjoy the site and explore to your hearts content. There's alot of wonderful information here ------------------Sendin' love your way,"your friend in spirit" EpicDesignHiya yourfriendinspirit! Thanks for the welcome! I think I understand what you said...hehe. If I'm reading it correctly, then whenever a person has planets that aren't listed in thier houses, then those are aspects of that person that they find hard to express.Indeed, your descriptions based on my moon seem to fit certain parts of my personality very well. I do tend to be very quiet, especially around people I don't know, but with friends I can be quite talkative and expressive. Persistent is an understatement when it comes to something I want...haha.I really do require a lot of security, and even more-so at home. I am quite a home-body, and would rather be here than anywhere else. I don't go out too terribly much, but I do enjoy it when I do, but mostly because I do so either with friends I know I can trust, or to places that offer the same feeling. With the material possessions, it's kind of weird...at least whatever amount I've noticed with myself. I only seem to go with material things that apply directly to the tiny handful of things that bring me real happiness. Making music is one of the primary ones, and the only other is my car. Both of which, I have no desire to approach unless I'm using only the best items possible. Everything I choose for them is very well thought out and considered, and I tend to make very regular use of them.Music production is by far one of the most personally rewarding things that I find I can do. I love making it, and can sit here for hours listening to things over and over again as I slowly morph sounds to perfection. The interesting thing to me though, is that while most people who create music often want to find a way to give it to others, but usually, at a price. It doesn't matter what that price is, but I've NEVER had any desire to derive monetary values from anything I've made. I'm so content with just hearing a person tell me that they get enjoyment out of listening to it, that it seems that's worth more than any money ever could be in that regard. I know that something I've created has brought another person some form of joy, or emotional pleasure, and that makes me feel great. When you said "You may look to the rulers of Taurus and Scorpio for expression as well...", I'm not quite understanding this, perhaps for lack of understanding the relations involved, I dunno. Do you mean I should look toward people with those things in their charts, or something else??Thanks again for the reply! PeriWelcome to LL, Epic!
