T O P I C R E V I E WpseudofemmeYikes. I have my Saturn square my boyfriend's moon, and my moon squares his Saturn... both with about a 2 degree orb.I have had a lot of problems feeling "connected" to him and I'm wondering if this is why. I feel like something is missing from our relationship. There's a barrier between us, though he doesn't seem to feel it like I do... I am not in love with him, and don't think I ever will be.Sorry, that was a tangent. Just wondering, what effect do you think a moon/Saturn square -- especially when it's a double whammy -- has in a relationship?lalalindaThis aspect works better ifyou both have the square in the natal.Otherwise it can be a difficult aspect, but not impossible to work through.good luckErickaFnot a great aspect my friend has this aspect with her boyfriend...but like everything else in life you can work through it if you really love each other.darkdreamerPseudofemme,I agree with the others, it`s a difficult aspect, but it can work, when both are willing to work at the relationship. In those cases it can even prove to provide so much glue, that the couple somehow can`t really break up, even though one or both would like to. There`s something that glues you together. But there was something you said, that I don`t understand. If you are not in love with your boyfriend, why are you with him?DDRev. AliceI would advise caution. Living together, long-term could lead to a pair of depressed people--partly because something in your backgrounds becomes a barrier or restriction. It is like you remind each other of something that needs to be forgotten or left behind--but it cannot be in the presence of each other.------------------You are a blessing and you are blessed. Rev. Aliceastrominister@hotmail.comwww.lifeprintastrology.comdarkdreamerRev. Alice,I don`t know how this aspect plays out in love relationships, but I have that with my best friend, Moon square SAturn and Moon opposite Saturn, but it seems to work between us, for many years now.But then again we don`t live together, and we were very aware of the fact, that we never could share a flat. OUr needs and habits are too different for that. But apart from that we`re getting along very well.DDAliahi... i have also a saturn DW with the man i d like to be with...he s keepin me out of his life now but i know, like linda goodman taught us,that if I MIND,IT MATTERS. so eventually i will manifest him back in my life again.this is the whammy :his saturn squares my moon -1deg orbhis moon inconjunct my saturn -0.5 degreesDarkdreamer do you think there is that glue you talk about ,in this case? thanks! and ,yes, pseudofemme, i also would like to know if you dont love him why are you w him?pseudofemmeThe reason I'm still with him is, I'm hoping I WILL fall in love with him eventually. I've talked to him about it, and told him I'm worried that my feelings are more platonic than anything... that I don't feel a "spark." But he just laughs it off and says I'm expecting too much out of the relationship so soon (we've been together 6 months). He said I need to wait at least a year to give a chance for those feelings to develop.Maybe he's right, and it will just take more time?Aliapseudofemme, are you an earth sign?i ask bcs ,since im aries/leo i cannot possibly think of 'waiting to fall in love' with someone...it must be instant...you just 'feel' and 'know'.what the bleep,i couldnt even let him touch me. if there were feelings,by yr side, in 6 months you'd know already..but maybe more logical patient signs like virgo or taurus, could have your mindset and stay in it to see what happens..being w someone w/out attraction is like drinking a flat soda,,,you will know when you ll meet someone who ll blow your mind and comparing to what you felt about this dude now you ll just wonder why did u waste all that precious time!that saturn/moon square double whammy...just sounds like 'boring' interaction btw the 2 of you ,or being at a different level..is there a remarkable age difference? i bet you have long silent times when ur together...i had this aspect w my father and we never talked...im just a newbie in astrology but this emotional distance is the feeling i get from the way u talk about yr relationship w him.pseudofemmeWow Alia, you hit the nail on the head. Yes, I'm an earth sign (Taurus), though my Aries Venus yearns for some excitement. My boyfriend has three planets and his asdcendant in Virgo, so he can also patiently wait for love. Me, I have a bit more fire in me, including a Leo moon, so maybe that's why I'm feeling restless in this relationship! I want a spark, something exciting. It's just not there, despite how wonderful he is.You're right about an age difference too. I'm 20 and he's 24. Four years isn't huge, but we are definitely in different places in life. And yes, there is a lot of silent time. He doesn't mind it, but I do. It doesn't feel like conversation flows naturally.Aliahi PF... the only thing i can tell you is listen to your intuition...if u dont feel he can connect to you/make you happy, just take this relationship as a lesson,to know what you dont want and to learn something about yourself. ur only 20 , and alot of more men will come into yr life..be aware, and always refer to your higher self to guide you...i have made many mistakes, gettin w men i didnt care about or hoping i would develop a feeling for them later, and never happened,,,i just created bad karmic auric bonds, which they ll take alot of time and effort to clear... good luck afrokenwhat about synastry moon-saturn conjunctions?
