heart cakes | hi! so i'm finally about to figure out my progressed chart.. but i don't quite understand where to begin. it's a day for a year right? so does that mean the year starts on your birthday and the chart is lasting for the entire year? i will be turning 29 in less than 2 months, so do i do up a chart for 28 days past my birthday and will it still count up till my 29th birthday? or do i have to play with the ascendant or something to bring it up to the right time frame? thanks! |
lalalinda | hi heartcakes go to astro.com pull up extended charts pick natal and progressed everything is already calculated, you will see the progressed planet placements in green (on your aspect grid, to the right of your natal placements) With progressions you use an orb of no more than 1 degree http://www.astrologyweekly.com/astrological-techniques/predictive-astrology-levels.php Good luck edited to add...The progressed Moon moves approx. 1 degree per month, this is used to "time" event (show you when they are going to happen.) |
heart cakes | THANK YOU lalalinda! whew, progressions are a whole nother world aren't they!? i'm a bit tripped out at how stelliummy my guy's progressed chart is, as well as our progressed composite. woah.. |
heart cakes | hey, is there any way to make a progressed chart for a certain day without doing huge math calculations? also, not that i'm great with the science of astrology, but i don't quite get the logic of how planets going retrograde days after your birth are going to effect you in the same backwarding way that many years into the future, for example. is there a quick theory or link or something that can explain that? |
jane | Hey heart cakes, I'm not sure if this is what you're asking about. But are you looking basically for how to make a natal chart of your progressed chart (so that you could do a synastry comparison between two progressed charts)? If so, make a natal chart, entering the date and time that your progressed chart is based on. That date and time is listed in red at the top of the page with your progressed chart. For mine, I entered the birth location as London since the progressed chart uses UT. |

at astro.com when you enter chart selections look at options and you will see a place to enter the date. Don't forget to choose progressed/natal under circular charts.
