T O P I C R E V I E WLeoCatSince I've been obsessing over my Yod I've been doing much research and found this and it pretty much describes me down to every last bone in my body. Can any other yod people relate? Except of course to the part about crying over "why does this always happen to me?" I'm well aware that I create my own misery from my ridiculously insane relationships and actions."People who have a yod in a natal horoscope will have a hard time settling down into an acceptable, smooth sailing pattern just because they will always be searching. This also applies to their relationships and this means they will have a hard time with what we are accustomed to calling a "middle class life" or a "homey" relationship. There will always be something gnawing at the back of their minds. "So is this it?" or, "Life must have more to offer then this!" and the like. If they don't understand where this is coming from they run the risk of abandoning a good relationship or what is in itself a decent marriage in search of something else. For what? They don't know, but "something" is beckoning them and they "know" or "feel" that there simply has to be more. There is a sizeable danger here that they will run into the arms of a person who, for them, conjures up something very special which, in fact, has no content to offer, with grievous and painful experiences as a result. And then they ask the classic question, "why does this always have to happen to me of all people?" It's that feeling of hunger that drives people like that..."-Karen Hamaker-ZondagSeeing Stars 7.21wow .. yea thats definitely accurate.. I would say that describes me alot.. but with a virgo asc like me and cancer sun with some depression aspects as well, when those questions arise I will prolly feel in a down mood.. or depressed or some other.. but yes as far as always searching for something.. most certainly plagues me.. I have at times always felt this and questioned life and what everything means and what my fate is and such. alot of questions. gosh.. searching for this "purpose" or whatever it is that im suppose to be looking for in this life has always been a thought of me.. or maybe thats just typical virgo over analyzation.. idk. but i do know that I have 2 Yods tightly pact into one another because of the focal point being a saturn- uranus conjunction. good post leocat. your not alone LeoCatHey thanks SeeingStars! I hear ya, I have three yods if you count my black moon lilith which I'm going to include as she comes up pretty strongly in my progressed charts. One yod in particular is causing me intense emotional agony at the moment. Good luck on your quest! Or shall I say, your neverending search to feed the hunger. ;-)Geocosmic ValentineHi LeoCat,How has learning about your Yod helped your current situation? What actions will you take or thought processes will you change now that you know about it? How has it healed you? Has it made you feel better or worse? Has it empowered you or allowed you to let go of personal responsibility?Geocosmic ValentineProfessional Astrologergeocosmicvalentine@yahoo.com: www.myspace.com/geocosmicvalentine ------------------"Everybody is a star!"Sly & The Family StoneLeoCatHi Valentine, I feel it's weight on my shoulders and I'm trying to figure it out to the point of obsession. It's like a puzzle and I'm trying to take it apart and put it back together to make it fit right. Or I feel like I'm in a maze trying to find my way out, out of where I don't know, just OUT. I feel a tremendous amount of desperation and emotional crisis and I can't even explain why. The description I posted above pretty much describes the way I've felt my whole life. The "reaction point" of my yod currently sits on my solar return ascendant and it's this nagging feeling I can't get rid of. Aaargh! Thanks for reading!mudmamaWow! That was fantastic, and yep. resonates with me.Of course my Yod points to my 7th house so....signed,another dysfunctional yod-person ------------------Sun-LibraMoon-CapricornAsc-LibraMercury-ScorpioVenus-ScorpioMars-VirgoJupiter-VirgoSaturn-Aries(r)Uranus-LibraNeptune-Scorpio
