T O P I C R E V I E WPeaceAngeli went to astrotheme earlier and did a search to find famous people who match my sun in aries and moon in aquarius and it came back with russell crowe. well, he has his mars in aries and my mars is in taurus so i suppose that while he's inclined to throw the phone, i'm more likely to eat it.does anyone else share sign/planet placements with famous people that they can or can't relate to?Green FairySun/Moon in CancerPrince WILLIAM d'Angleterre born June 21, 1982Harrison FORD born July 13, 1942Camilla PARKER BOWLES born July 17, 1947Courtney LOVE born July 9, 1964Charlotte GAINSBOURG born July 21, 1971David HASSELHOFF born July 21, 1952Giorgio ARMANI born July 11, 1934Yul BRYNNER born July 11, 1915Petra NEMCOVA born June 24, 1979Jared PADALECKI born July 19, 1982Jack WHITE born July 9, 1975Pablo NERUDA born July 12, 1904George ORWELL born June 25, 1903Olivia de HAVILLAND born July 1, 1916Arianna HUFFINGTON born July 15, 1950*sigh* quite the variety of personalities in that listHmm well I'm not a tool or a drug addict, but I'm a little kooky with a wild imagination. I think I can identify with Jack White.PeaceAngelLOL GreenFairyoutstanding company. yeah, i think that jack white is the pick of the bunch. but how can you go past the hoff!bvanzyWell, I've barely heard of most of the people on my list. Leo Sun/Libra Moon. Except for Fidel Castro! However, Wim Wenders is on there too. And I'm a great admirer of his work.janeWow, I have many of the same planet placements as Gustave Flaubert (writer). Of all the personal planets & angles, the only thing we don't have in common is our Venus. A couple months ago I tried to read Madame Bovary but never got into it. Found it pretty boring, actually. I will give it another go. We both have:Sun in SagMoon in LeoAsc in Sco (at the exact same degree!)MC in LeoMercury in ScorpioMars in VirgoSo what was my sign twin like? quote:In his youth, Flaubert was vigorous, had a certain shy grace, was intensely individual, and apparently lacked ambition. The personal character of Flaubert offered various peculiarities. He was shy, and yet extremely sensitive and arrogant; he passed from silence to an indignant and noisy flow of language. The same inconsistencies marked his physical nature; he had the build of a guardsman with a Viking head, but his health was uncertain from childhood, and he was neurotic to the last degree. This ruddy giant was secretly gnawed by misanthropy and disgust of life. His hatred of the bourgeois and their bêtise (willful idiocy) began in his childhood and developed into a kind of monomania. He despised his fellow-men, their habits, their lack of intelligence, their contempt for beauty, with a passionate scorn which has been compared to that of an ascetic monk. How charming! quote:He can be said to have made cynicism into an art-form, as evinced by this observation from 1846: "To be stupid, and selfish, and to have good health are the three requirements for happiness; though if stupidity is lacking, the others are useless." It's like reading my diary. Even though we have such similar planet placements, we have no aspects in common. The closest we have to an identical aspect is that we both have a harmonious Moon-Pluto aspect (he has the trine; I have the sextile). But nothing else in common on that front. I guess it shows how important aspects are. But I think every Virgo Mars can relate at least a little bit to this: quote:He worked in sullen solitude, sometimes occupying a week in the completion of one page, never satisfied with what he had composed, violently tormenting his brain for the best turn of a phrase, the most absolutely final adjective. Sometimes I have that experience when filling out a mere birthday card. Fortunately I'm not at that level of perfectionism. Still, I can relate to the agony of trying to precisely articulate an idea that is felt but not yet known in words.Personality wise, he was like a more neurotic, melancholic, pessimistic version of myself. There but for the grace of Venus trine Jupiter goes I. venusdeindiai too have a sun n moon in cancer...Prince WILLIAM d'Angleterre born June 21, 1982Harrison FORD born July 13, 1942Camilla PARKER BOWLES born July 17, 1947Courtney LOVE born July 9, 1964Charlotte GAINSBOURG born July 21, 1971David HASSELHOFF born July 21, 1952Giorgio ARMANI born July 11, 1934Yul BRYNNER born July 11, 1915Petra NEMCOVA born June 24, 1979Jared PADALECKI born July 19, 1982Jack WHITE born July 9, 1975Pablo NERUDA born July 12, 1904George ORWELL born June 25, 1903Olivia de HAVILLAND born July 1, 1916Arianna HUFFINGTON born July 15, 1950bunniesjane. Watch the film of Madame Bovary with Jennifer Jones. She's wonderfully neurotic and brittle. I love that film.Who the blazes is Arianna Huffington?clockworkroseI'd didn't know how to use that astrotheme thing, but I know Lord Byron is an Aquarius Sun/Cancer Moon. Of course our persoanl planets are different. I found that I learned quite a bit about astrology by comparing an contrastiong our charts. I'm very demanding on myself in regards to the design work I do and I'm always working on doing my very best. My guess is that Mars in Virgo and Uranus in Virgo in the first house (on the cusp of my second) is the driving force. Not to mention lots of Mercury going on.amowlsJohnny Rotten (lead singer of the Sex Pistols) has Sun & Merc in Aqua, Moon in Libra, & Venus in Pisces, Mars & Saturn in Sag like me.I don't know what his rising sign is, though.janebunnies - Thanks for the rec, will do. I'm going to try finishing the book first though. This may have been the first time that I've bought a book and not finished reading it (besides books for school). I hate not using what I buy.Arianna is a writer. She runs a left of center political blog called "The Huffington Post." She used to be to the right politically and would do some skits with comedian/political genius Al Franken on Bill Maher's old show "Politically Incorrect." The skit was called strange bedfellows. They'd sit in bed discussing politics; she on the right, he on the left. Anyway, I don't know if she's ever said this, but I think talking with Al influenced her conversion. And that's everything I know about her. Oh, and she was born and raised in Greece. There, that's everything.Seeing Stars 7.21How about instead of trying to find comparisons between our charts and famous people we go out and make our own charts famous? eh? ------------------Warning: If you are reading this then this warning is for you. Every word you read of this useless fine print is another second off your life. Don't you have other things to do? Is your life so empty that you honestly can't think of a better way to spend these moments? Or are you so impressed with authority that you give respect and credence to all that claim it? Do you read everything you're supposed to read? Do you think every thing you're supposed to think? Buy what you're told to want? Get out of your apartment. Meet a member of the opposite sex. Stop the excessive shopping and masturbation. Quit your job. Start a fight. Prove you're alive. If you don't claim your humanity you will become a statistic. You have been warned.
