T O P I C R E V I E Wblue moonWARNING! UNKNOWN TIME OF BIRTHThis is the birth chart of my granny, around the time she gave birth for the 7th and last time. Eagle eyes will notice the date. No, not a young mother. And it wasn't with the aid of anything other than my grandpa in a funny mood. I am also descended from one of her more mature eggs, but not this one. But enough to make me laugh when the press bangs on about granny mothers. It's nothing new. Oh, and apparently my husband's great-grandmother was 50 when his grandpa was born. The french, eh, always got to go one better than the English. haybellyHey blue moon, cool!.My grandfather was born in 1888 in Germany, he came to Milwaukee, WI, started working for the railroad, I have fond memories of him singing "I've been working for the railroad"....anyway, he lost a finger hooking a train together at age 49. When he was in the hospital, he met my grandmother, a 19 year old candy stripe girl. They fell in love, and my dad was born when my grandfather was 51. My grandfather lived to be 99, married nearly 50 years, after he died, my grandmother gave up living, she died a few years later. Age is just mind over matter, if you don't mind, it doesn't matter! I did inherit the young looking genes, many people think I am in my early 30's, not early 40's.You have made me smile, thANKSblue moonIf we listened to the press we would all be sat in an armchair waiting for menopause as soon as we hit 35. bunniesMy Mum was one of ten children (Irish Catholics) and her mother was 18 when she had her first and 48 when she had her last.Eeek!!! 30 years of childbearing. She had 6 children under 5 because she had a set of twins. In a two bed terraced house. With no washing machine or modern anything.I go queasy just thinking about it!Though I don't think post partum depression was invented then, which would have helped!blue moonThat's reminded me, this is my other Nan, who thought she couldn't have children, then after 7 years of trying she got pregnant. It would have been around this time. I can't remember which Solar Arc aspect Geocosmic Valentine pointed to, I think it was a Quindecile. Accurate time of birth from her family ~ you'll see why everyone remembered this one! EDIT: It's the Pluto Quindecile Uranus, Uranus being ruler of the 5th house. This Nan had another baby 7 years later, just before she turned 40. You just don't know in this world.
