First of all I was surprised to find out how important the vertex-axis can be in your natal. So, let that be the first thing to look at, according to the article(s):"If the Vertex axis has a planet or Node conjunct, it often becomes an over-riding force that makes the Vertex and that planet stronger than anything else in the chart, including a planet conjunct the Ascendant or MC."

"If you have a planet conjunct the Vertex axis it tends to make this axis the most powerful in your natal chart. If the Vertex axis is active, it takes precedence over the other angles."

"Contact between both ends of the Vertex axis and/or their rulers usually strengthen the power of this ‘angle’."
About synastry, this strikes me:
"Powerful and destined experiences in relationships are particularly likely if you have your natal Vertex axis in the 5th-11th (love) or 7th-1st (partnerships) or in Leo-Aquarius or Libra-Aries. The Vertex in the 8th house or Scorpio-Taurus gives incredibly intense and deeply felt experiences.
You will find people are particularly magnetic for you if they have their Vertex axis straddling your Ascendant-Descendant or your 5th-11th cusp."

As this is ALL written on my (current) body..
- I have my Sun (ruler of anti-vertex) conjunct anti-vertex in the 11th house in Leo. Rulers of vertex/anti-vertex in aspect. And: I've met someone with the asc/desc- axis exactly conjunct my vertex/anti-vertex-axis (most exact aspect in our synastry) -
... I wonder: are there more similar examples/experiences to share?
And: If you have a planet/angle oonjunct your vertex-axis, have you ever seen the significance of it?
