T O P I C R E V I E Wracole12I'm still a little unclear about mutual reception, and I hope someone will use my example to help me understand it...I have synastry with an individual where we have: Me- Venus @ 11- Scorpio Him- Uranus @ 11- Scorpio and Mars @ 11- Aquarius So, our Mars and Venus are squared each other but since he has a mutual reception with Mars and Uranus so does it work like a Venus/Mars conj between us? Also, I have Venus conj Uranus which should complement his Aquarius Mars energy ? I'm just trying to pick up on some of the little stuff I don't think I have completely learned correctly yet! Thanks! cristinamemutual reception is a matter of natal chart interpretation, NOT sinastry. it shows how two planets cooperate in one's natal chart.if you use Uranus as the (modern) ruler of Aqua, you may not use Mars as the (anticent) ruler of Scorpio. you gotta chose and stay consistent. you may not mix everything together like that. it's either Saturn and Mars using old rulers, or Uranus and Pluto - modern rulers of Aqua and Scorpio, respectively. either modern or ancient. racole12I have gotten a lot of mixed reviews in the past about mutual reception in synastry... do this, do that... no, don't to that. I felt the same about not mixing up traditional/modern rulers until I started having people tell me it was acceptable to mix. I didn't think it shouldn't be used in Synastry until I was told other wise that MR is used in Composites so it should used in synastry as well. So, it's causing me a lot of confusing on this topic.I'm starting to think it is as touchy as a subject as much as talking about orbs. LOLThanks for the reply. DDRacole, how are you having a mutual reception in synastry with him?He has one natally, but I do not see the synastric one?racole12DD-I didn't mean him and I have mutual reception together. I was meaning, for example, I have mutual reception with my Sun and Jupiter. Does the mutual reception planets in my chart effect aspects in synastry that are involved with my Jupiter... Lets say someone has Venus conj to my Jupiter- does my mutual reception with my Jupiter/Sun effect the Jupiter/venus aspect in synastry?racole12I'm having issues with post... most of them are not posting...
