T O P I C R E V I E WSmilingHeartI have some questions concerning empty houses. What does it mean for that area of life when a house is empty? Is it that it doesn't play a big role in my life or is it just something I don't have to work on?It would be great to get some more information on this topic, especially for me...I have 7 empty houses.CoffeeI can half answer your question. Look at the house rulers, not what is in a house.Aya_and_babyI have 8 empty houses myself if you don't count asteroids and other minor objects. In my experience it seems that the houses which are fuller, tend to get more attention and the focus directed towards them, while empty houses can sometimes be neglected. But they certainly do have their influence! Every house signifies a part of life, a stage if you will, and so each house has its influence on your personality and behaviour. You just don't notice it as much. Like Coffee said, look at the house rulers especially if a house is empty. ------------------Scorp sun , Gem moon, Cap mars and Sag nearly everything else! Well, except Pluto and Saturn :pSmilingHeartOkay, and so what does the house ruler tell me about the house then? For example one of my empty houses is the second. Second house ruler is Venus (?). Venus being in the first tells me what exactly about the second house?StawrI have 5 empty houses. (house 1,3,4,5 &7)And counting main planets, I mostly have things in the 6, 8, and 10th house. If yu go by that old way of interpreting.Doux RêveI think we should also consider that planet's aspects, right?Like what aspects does Venus make? This can give you more info about how you handle your finances etc.maira quote:Originally posted by Doux Rêve:I think we should also consider that planet's aspects, right?Like what aspects does Venus make? For rulers of houses in the houses, this is a good starting point: http://www.cafeastrology.com/natal/rulersofhousesinhouses.html Also, the house matters will usually be activated by transit or synastry (I consider people to be permanent transits).MertSerimer quote:Originally posted by SmilingHeart:Okay, and so what does the house ruler tell me about the house then? For example one of my empty houses is the second.
