T O P I C R E V I E WCosmicKarma360--malicefeyI guess "binding aspect" relates to what keeps these couples together, for better or for worse. I've known couples where they just cannot leave each other, even when the relationship CLEARLY is bad for the both of them. They have Venus Opposition Sun, Sun Conjunct Uranus, Saturn Conjunct Saturn, Saturn Conjunct Uranus, Moon sextile venus, Uranus conjunct Uranus all within 3 degree orbs.CosmicKarma360--malicefey quote:Originally posted by CosmicKarma360: Thanks! So, there aren't so much a list of "proper" binding aspects, but more like the personal plantes, with maybe Saturn thrown in to the mix? However, in the list you mentioned, it seems like at least the Venus oppositions at first would be attraction aspects. Is that right?I'm not too sure, the girl has the sun (sag) and it opposes her boyfriend's venus (gem) at around a 1deg orb and the guy just can't stop seeing her or texting her. Same with her, she would tell him that she needs to do cold turkey with him...but after about a day, they're back together, talking again. They broke up because he had a very flirty nature and wanted to "explore" other girls. But at the end of the day, he goes back to her....and she lets him! What's worse is that they still sleep together, (despite the fact that during the day he is seeing 3 other girls)...and she lets that happen too. As a close friend of hers I always advise her to have more control and will power. Her response is "I know! I know!! But I just can't...!!"-_-------------------Sun LibraMoon LibraMars LibraMercury ScorpioVenus ScorpioAsc ScorpioCapriquarius quote:Originally posted by malicefey: I'm not too sure, the girl has the sun (sag) and it opposes her boyfriend's venus (gem) at around a 1deg orb and the guy just can't stop seeing her or texting her. What a dishonorable assclown this guy is. He is using her body while scouting around for other partners - classic unevolved Gemini Venus. I hope your friend finds another guy soon. And that she'll stop texting this guy. Gemini Moon/Venus hates it when verbal communication is closed off. Most binding aspects in my personal experience have been double-whammy Sun-Saturn. When it's a trine, the attachment on the part of the Saturn partner gets stronger as time goes by.malicefeyI know! Actually, with my current partner we have a DW saturn conjunct venus (but they are pretty wide orbs..like 4 deg / 6 deg)I guess that means over time we will both be cold and critical of each other in love?????*confused*I've heard some stories from people that Sun Conj Saturn aspect DOES tend to be TOO much on the sun person. It basically sounded like the saturn person was inhibiting them from being themselves...and was very restrictive of the sun person. Although this aspect didn't manifest in the relationship until 4 years down the road..------------------Sun LibraMoon LibraMars LibraMercury ScorpioVenus ScorpioAsc ScorpioCosmicKarma360--Capriquarius^ I have that with someone. We both feel we're not right for each other and have gone on month-long breaks but we can't forget each other. It's been a year. I'm the Saturn person in cross-aspect synastry, but his Saturn is exactly square our composite Sun. The effect this has on him is that he says he can't bear the idea of "us" ending. Even though we value completely different things and don't see eye-to-eye on anything. quote:Originally posted by malicefey:I know! Although this aspect didn't manifest in the relationship until 4 years down the road.. Seems to me like Saturn warms up over time. So there would be blockages to freely expressing affection in the beginning, but as the partners become more familiar with each other, there will be a sense of security and dependability. The wide orbs would be helpful in making it all a little less stifling, especially with a strong aspect like the conjunction. With Sun-Saturn, it feels like Saturn is forever disapproving of everything the Sun person is, even as Saturn is supportive. Even with a gentle aspect like the trine. Not sure if this is a good thing or emotionally unhealthy...sometimes we need to have a critic around in order to wake us up to our faults and grow as individuals. But it won't be fun, since Saturn's not about feel-good lovey-dovey romance (Neptune's department); he's third-density reality and the need to prove ourselves in real world terms.Saturn aside....has anyone else had experience with Neptune-Chiron in synastry? According to Magi Astrology, this is supposedly a lifetime connection. I was doubtful but am starting to see one example of it in my life: I have Neptune trine Chiron with a guy I met four years ago. He's not attached to me or possessive or anything, but he contacts me once in a while to see what I'm up to. This has been going on for years and yet I don't think he's all that interested in me romantically or sexually because we've been in situations to consummate but never did, and also I'm not his type.malicefey quote:Saturn aside....has anyone else had experience with Neptune-Chiron in synastry?
