BelligerentPygmy | Nah. Moon-Uranus might, though. |
Nothingbutaname | I have moon in first, definitely not unstable, maybe more empathetic especially if it conjuncts the AC. I would agree about moon-uranus aspects though. |
ElizabethO | Not unstable, but moods are more prominent. Depending on the placement, i.e. Cancer Moon or Gemini Moon, changes in mood may be more obvious therefore they may seem "unstable". |
Ami Anne | You would show your emotions, easily, I think. ------------------ Want a peek in to my journal? http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

I have Moon Taurus in the 11th trine Uranus in Cap in the 7th, does the trine mean moodiness even though they're in earth signs? |
sand | the taurus rising and moon i know was pretty stable but moon is in exaltation in taurus so i dunno.. |

No, I think it gives your Taurus Moon an edge and actually makes it more open to change. It probably explains your interest in metaphysics as well, because the Moon seems to reflect hobbies and interests, and metaphysics (beyond 3D Saturn reality) would be Uranian in nature.Good stuff. I have the joy of having Moon in Aquarius square Uranus in Scorpio, so this thread should be about me. |
Capriquarius | Pisces Moon in 1st would make you extremely sensitive to the vibes you encounter in your personal interactions. You may take on the feelings of those around you. Then walk into a different room with a different vibe and absorb that temporarily into your emotional landscape. I can see how that could feel emotionally unstable, being affected by others' feelings and moods. Having Moon in 1st would also make you come across as a good confidante, someone who would lend a sympathetic ear. |
moonpie | Emotionally unstable? yes. I have this placement and you can pretty much guess what it would mean. Emotions define you. You are emotional and absorb the feelings of everyone and everything around you. |

I'm thinking the fact that it involves Taurus and Cap makes that less likely; someone mentioned Gemini a few posts back - now that would be a different story, entirely. Or some thing like moon in scorpio conjunct Uranus in Scorpio.... Now that I think about it, I would've sworn I've seen astrologers say that Gemini is the sign most frequently seen in charts of those with bipolar disorder/various other mood disorders... |

i have pisces that happens to me constantly and i hate it! I mean, I love being a sympathetic and empathetic person, who people can go to for advice or comfort. I like being able to do that for people, for being seen as someone comforting and understanding. But I hate when I feel what the other is feeling. Just this week I remember an old colleague coming into my job and she had thrown out her back . . . for the rest of the day I had serious back pain (which I never get). Yesterday my classmate told me she had cramps . . . then I start to feel like I have them. It's so annoying. But I don't find myself to be unstable. Emotional, yes, empathetic, yes. I think mars in the first would be more unstable when it comes to emotions (which I also have). I can be temperamental and quick to argue...but definitely not unstable emotionally. |
amowls** | I think it might make someone less able to HIDE their emotions, thus appearing unstable. Everyone around us has varying moods, and most of us can hide it, but Moon in the 1st can make this moodiness apparent. If you have an Air Moon in the first, you are more than likely going to be even tempered. If you have Moon square Uranus with Moon in the first, you will appear to be unstable. |
