T O P I C R E V I E WBackToEarthIs there something about the communication between the Mercury in Taurus person, and the Mercury in Scorpio person? The best thing I've read is, they each feel as if they're having an entirely different conversation than what's actually taking place. With a Sun in Taurus person & Sun in Scorpio person, they seem to find a lot of common ground, they have mutual respect, and if it's romantic, can be fulfilling when it's not torrid.Maybe even the same relative success with the same Oppositions in their Moons, or Mars, or Venus. But is there any way to get around that pesky Mercury when it comes to this Opposition?Maybe if one or both people have a strong communication leaning thru life, it's worse. Or if one person is not so communicative, it works. If there's a showdown, both parties tend to stubbornly adopt a "take it or leave it" stance. What do you think?------------------..We're not human beings having a spiritual experience. In natal chart means a lot of internal struggles and many changes of personality. In synastry, don't be fooled by: the opposites attract each other. Its the most difficult aspect. Its like living with your enemy. What you don'y like in yourself you are gonna find it in your opposite person. At first it will seem exciting but with time its not than exciting anymore.Lava Flower quote:Originally posted by Rosalind:Oppositions are never good both in natal or synastry chart. For example, that Scorpio I was talking about.. He has a Scorpio stellium all falling into my 4th house. Our ASC, vertexes, and eros and psyche are conjunct exact.Pretty deep. Our conversations have no end to them, nothing irritating. I highly doubt I will ever feel like he is an embodiment of my enemy. In fact we have the potential to balance each others' stelliums out. Especially if it's a romantic pairing.Case in point, Paul Newman & Joanne Woodward. This is just one astrologically well-documented study.I'd jot down a litany of other cases and reasons, but it's just common knowledge already. The only thing I agree with is in the example of something like a Venus Square Uranus, just one of a few other Aspects which denotes an attraction that will "fly in the face of social convention". Or "the relationship lives because of a forbidden quality." Or "Making (the relationship) legitimate takes away the 'zing' of unconventionality, the two lose interest, and the affair dies."I can agree with this premise and it's a great example of how union's start off hot & heavy but then fizzle.*Credit: astro.com - AstroClick Partner interactive option.------------------..We're not human beings having a spiritual experience.
