T O P I C R E V I E Whmmas the jupiter person do you feel the other person planet prevents you from 'expanding' growing, etc.Doux RêveI hope not..hmmbumpanyone wanna comment...what relationships have you felt limited in, like the other person slowed you down.i know it sounds a lot like saturn, or even pluto....but in those relationships...what were the jupiter aspects like?CeridwenNot at all. I even love hard Jupiter aspects, especially to Venus and Mars. The poblem with these might just be that I expand TOO much, and depending on the other person this could simply be too much for them.Having said that I experienced it most positively if the other persons planet was in Sagittarius or conjunct Jupiter in their natal chart, then the feeling of "not even the sky`s the limit" was intoxicating. A sense of carefreeness and freedom I rarely experience to this degree. In relationships I felt limited in there usually were hardly any Jupiter-aspects at all (to personal planets and angles).GrayHonestly? I never even pay attention to Jupiter in synastry charts - like, at all. I always look to see what the luminaries and the INNER planets are doing, along with the Vertex axis and the NN. And if for some reason I still feel the need to slough through the chart some more, I MAY start looking at Saturn, but I never ever pay attention to Jupiter. Besides, Venus is what you like and enjoy. So to me that's where the main focus should be out of the two of them. So no, I don't believe that if there's hard Jupiter aspects it automatically means the relationship will feel like toil for one or both people, if their Venus aspects are good, they'll still find the relationship pleasurable, more likely than not. CeridwenWell, Jupiter might be a tad more emphasized for me as it rules my ASC and disposits most of my inner planets in Sagittarius (Sun, Mercury, Mars). For me if someone aspects my Jupiter, I feel like I can be very much myself.vertiverYeah I agree. I'm also a Sag Asc and my BF mars is conjunct natal Jupiter. We are constantly doing things - hiking, walking and eating exotic foods I feel like myself when I'm around him. Also hard Jupiter aspects seem to me to have more potential for growth than a easy aspect because it takes some effort and understanding on both ends to evolve together. JLyn ~Oh nooooAs a matter of fact it makes the other planet expand to much! That's the negative effect from Jupiter so all around gravy I love Jupiter But I think the worse negative Jupiter aspect with another planet would be (Jupiter square Neptune) with to much deceiving going on or (Jupiter square Mars) with excessive no shows in what you'll wantLonakeNot at all with my Jupiter involved. It just seems to be that they can't easily share the things that I enjoy, which would've bonded us closer together. It's fine. I obviously have other people in my life who feel that those experiences are worthy and who place value in them. But it definitely limits the time I want to spend with them, esp when their Venus is in square. But with their Jupiter involved, I felt like they were trying to share something with me that prevented me from moving in the direction in which I was heading. I know they just wanted to get closer, but if I'm not into it, that's that. It's not a huge deal. But in a few relationships, esp with their Jup opp my Sun, it ended up being a deal breaker.I just can't/won't go along with anyone's views just to pacify them.
