T O P I C R E V I E WanostI want to hear some thoughts, but hear me out.I know of only a couple Saturn in the first house people, both been diagnosed with Celiac Disease. Now, Celiac Disease is an auto-immune (Saturn rules the body's defenses) digestive disorder involving the body's inability to process gluten, but it involves a few different body systems. One being the circulatory (ruled by traditional Saturn sign Aquarius) and the skeletal system (overseen by classic Capricorn). It is said that Saturn in the first house people suffer from skin, hair, teeth and skeletal problems, short stature, a tendency to be frail and thin, and lack of vitality. Here are some Celiac symptoms: growth problems, decreased appetite and failure to gain weight, fatigue, eczema, anemia (circulatory), bone and joint pain, arthritis, depression and anxiety, bone loss and osteoporosis, discoloration of tooth enamel, and in some cases, loss of body or head hair.Another parellel I noticed was this; A celiac person, must undergo a very dramatic diet change in order to reach some semblance of good health. One would have to completely avoid all gluten and in some cases several other foods, which would make for quite the ascetic diet, a true Saturnine test. Though, in making these forced dietary choices (or paying Saturn's price of sickness and eventually death) one would inevitably come out on top at a later age as their body would experience a much more nutritious diet in comparison to the population, which would in turn give them the classic Saturn in the first "look better with age".Am I just jumping the gun, or could there be a connection here?VenusDiSiriusIs there connection between H6,its ruler,Aac ruler and H1 Saturn? In progressed start, the moment when celiac "wakes up" (for those who have it dormant for the some part of their lives usually teen years) - is there anything that puts Saturn and H1/6 themes in the same corner?H1 Saturn people are innately ascetic, needing little.GeekyInteresting. My one friend has a Sagittarius rising which should put her 6th house in either Taurus or Gemini (depending on the degrees). She regularly sees a neurologist (could this be Gemini in 6th realted?), and last time we talked over the summer she was self diagnosing a bit and investigating the possibility of thyroid issues (Taurus in the 6th?). This is true, for me.I look *much* better at 34 than I did at 24 or even 19. My face looks younger and I went from hovering around 200 pounds down to hovering between 120-130 after cleaning my diet from all gluten. =DWhen unmanaged, celiac disease is a slow, painful death. I can attest to this firsthand. The diet is lifelong because there is no cure and and it is strict. When I accidentally ingest gluten (usually cross-contamination), I am in serious pain.People think I can "cheat" and just eat a cookie or a piece of garlic bread but I can't. They also think I am being over-dramatic or rude at social functions, but I don't care. I make my intestines bleed for no one! And as of late, I just avoid people. I am not a pro at this...However, I would say watch out for overindulgence, especially alcohol as you are esp. sensitive to this. Overall, you are predisposed to be quite healthy. Your health issues would be more in your own state of mental hypochondria... not eating or overeating because of emotions, worry, guilt, fear, nervousness, etc. You may suffer with anxiety and get diarrhea with it. As for the gluten & dairy, MOST people improve off of the stuff. Gluten isn't good for anyone (honestly) and dairy is ok if you haven't developed lactose intolerance.Humans quite commonly acquire lactose intolerance as they age because we aren't designed to nurse from our mothers' breasts through our entire life. Using that logic, why should we nurse from a cow or a goat's breast for life? I never understood why people think milk is necessary in the diet. After all, those creatures get their calcium from the grasses they eat, they don't drink milk. Yeah, it tastes good and it's addictive but it's not necessary for survival either.
