T O P I C R E V I E WSorchaI've been looking through all the charts of the ghosts of boyfriends past and trying to see what patterns I keep attracting. I've been trying to mull over which synastry aspects are not healthy (or workable over the long term) for me versus the ones which I absolutely adore having with a partner. I reduced the orbs to 50% to get the closest, therefore the most potent, repeating energies. For better or worse, the repeating aspects in my charts are:Venus trine/sextile ASCMars trine/sextile ASC (almost always my Mars)Moon aspecting Jupiter (Mostly soft aspects or conjunctions, a couple hard ones. One of my favourite aspects and it's almost always present)Sun or Moon conjunct N/S Nodes ( I have one of these with every relationship, every time)Sun square VenusVenus square/opposite Venus (huge repeating pattern)Sun opposite Moon (love this one)Moon opposite Moon (do *not* love this one)Moon trine Moon (favourite!)Neptune aspecting MarsVenus square Pluto (I have this natally so it's almost a given. Boo.)Pluto trine my ASC and/or MC (Again, I have this natally so most people's Pluto will do the same)And finally I noticed that besides the repeating theme of falling in love with Sag ASC conjunct Neptune men (I have a Sag DSC) I noticed that my Saturn is 3 times as likely to closely aspect my partner's planets. So basically, I out-Saturn my partners which I suspect is something I should be aware of in the future. Curious to hear about other people's repeating aspect themes aquaguy91lots of hard pluto and neptune aspectsSorcha quote:Originally posted by aquaguy91:lots of hard pluto and neptune aspectsCurious - Do you have a lot of those natally? aquaguy91 quote:Originally posted by Sorcha: Curious - Do you have a lot of those natally? hard pluto aspects? yes. hard neptune aspects? no AquacheekaVenus-Pluto in synastry has been a recurring theme that has brought me much misery (begins with passion though). Also mutable signs. Neptune allures them in, Saturn ties them down and Mars slaps them around. All of my exes and my current one have either their Sun or Venus or Moon in one of these placements. 24'Aqua completes the T square to a Grand Square and thats the best feeling - harmony with a little spunk. One ex had his Mars at 24' Aqua and it was a bliss.iliketurtlesi know of a guy who has a habit of meeting people whos natal or draco moon or venus conjunct his natal sun. his natal venus has often squared the other person's natal or draco pluto too. kinda spookyas for me i've had hard venus-saturn aspects, conjunction and square mostly. my saturn is eight degrees from my venus (conjunction) but one guy had the square and another had the conjunction. i found both relationships (not romantic) quite difficult to handle.Little DoeDoux:I do need healing through love, but at the same time I feel like this aspect makes it hard to get that healing, like no matter how much love I get it will never heal me.. :/ Anyways, yeah, a trine or sextile is probably the best aspect, although I´d prefere to not have any venus chiron aspects in synastry tbh. I will add though that there IS something quite special about ths aspect, it´s kind of beautiful, because both people are vulnerable to eachother. But it takes alot of maturity to handle this aspect well, imo.Doux Rêve quote:Originally posted by Little Doe:Doux:I do need healing through love, but at the same time I feel like this aspect makes it hard to get that healing, like no matter how much love I get it will never heal me.. :/ Anyways, yeah, a trine or sextile is probably the best aspect, although I´d prefere to not have any venus chiron aspects in synastry tbh. It makes me wonder about an aspect that keeps repeating that is not tied in to the natal. I have Venus/Pluto so it makes sense that all my relationships have Venus/Pluto. But what about all the Venus square Venus aspects I've had? Maybe due to the fact that my Venus does square Pluto so I'm naturally more attracted to squares?
