T O P I C R E V I E WChiemiDo you (as the one with the natal aspect) still feel them? Or is it felt more by the other person without the natal aspect? ChiemiBump curiouswomanim curious about the same especially when one person has venus square saturn in natal and then in synastry.I'm so cappyLogically thinking, the person with the aspect is familiar with its energy so it will not "strike" them, at least not as powerfully as the other person. It might feel so natural that they may not acknowledge it consciously.------------------I'm sooo happy! I mean, cappy.CeridwenBut since they are resonating with that energy, something about the connection to the other person may just feel "right" or like they are pushing their buttons, the good as well as the red ones. For the person without that natal resonance, it might come out of the blue, but in some cases might be like a flash in the pan, here today, gone tomorrow (thinking of Uranus-synastry here actually, Saturn might be felt a little differently, maybe "too" heavy).I'm so cappyGood point.peachbeigeblueI personally don't think I feel them really. I have a lot of afflictions so when something lines up with my sun on moon then it just aspects my whole chart. Everyone my age I would have sun sq Pluto and moon opposite Pluto with. And if someone's Venus is conjunct mine then it opposes Saturn, Neptune and Uranus. I really think having it softens those hard aspects in synastry. I seem to rather have the conjunctions to my Sun, Moon, or Pluto with those aspects than not have them at all. Ps my Pluto is conjunct my AC Ceridwen quote:Originally posted by peachbeigeblue:I personally don't think I feel them really. So I think it makes sense that you would want to have intense synastric aspects as well, as you stated. For me, I have Venus square Pluto, and honestly I can`t do much with someone who is all trine and sextiles to my chart. It is nice, but *yawns*I also have strong Saturn in terms of my relationship houses, and I seem to really need Saturn (challenging) aspects in synastry. Surprisingly though I seem to have a liking for Saturn squres to my Sun and Mercury, even though these two planets are totally non afflicted in my chart (actualy they are an isolated pair). It is not so much that I feel them so strongly in terms of attraction, they are more or less a requirement. Without them, synastry feels too wishy-washy to me, and hence I would be totally disinterested.Actually I have seen that in most long term relationships. The synastry (and composite) resonating with certain natal aspects. peachbeigeblueVery interesting. Is Chiron doing anything that might affect the need for Saturn? Venus is in hard aspect to both for me so that might be why I'm not afraid of the "difficulty" of the afflicitions with someone else. You made a good point though. I seem to only be into men who are double fixed, aspecting my natal tsq/ascendant. It's the meat, like something for me to hold onto. ChiemiThank you all for responding!!!! It seems like EVERY guy I'm attracted to and even the people in my life (my mom and close friends) have all of these hard aspects in their natal charts while mine is basically weak imo lol. Since most guys I like and family/friends either have sun/pluto, mars/pluto, or moon/pluto hard aspects while I have just the sun/pluto sextile and moon/pluto trine, I'm starting to wonder if they're even affected by me (natal aspects) in any way lol .
